We drove to this place specifically for dinner expecting a five-star experience. When we reached, the scene was chaotic. A few waiters were rushing around, but no one bothered to assist us or offer us a seat. We stood there for several minutes, feeling ignored, and eventually found a seat on our own. We had to request someone to clean the table before sitting down.

Getting service was a struggle. I had to flag down a waiter and even walk over multiple times to get his attention just to bring us a barcode to open a online pdf menu and waiter takes manual order😀, can they not keep a menu card or place barcode on table??

We attempted to order quickly, but the waiter disappeared mid-order, leaving us to chase him down to complete it. The Long Island Iced Tea was served in a disappointingly small portion and tasted terrible despite costing ₹750. Another coconut-based cocktail was so awful we couldn’t drink it after one sip.

The food wasn’t any better at all. The pasta for the kids was passable, but the Xacuti Goa vegetable gravy was mediocre, and the paneer in coconut gravy was poorly prepared and unappetizing.

For comparison, we’ve had meals at simple beachside shacks in Palolem where the food quality and chef’s skills were leagues ahead of this place.

The only “five-star” aspect of this experience was the price tag, ₹10k bill for a quick and thoroughly disappointing meal.

Even basic necessities like plates, tissue paper, or cutlery had to be specifically requested. They served the food without considering how the customer would actually eat without these essentials, which was shocking for a place claiming to be five-star.

Honestly, this is a toned-down version of the poor treatment we received. The entire experience from the lack of service to the subpar food and inflated prices was deeply disappointing.

Please Save yourself the trouble and find a better place this one is not worth your...

Lalit Goa Corta's Shack- A Disastrous Breakfast Experience

I had high expectations for breakfast at Lalit Goa Corta's beach shack, but what awaited was a culinary debacle. The experience was riddled with disappointment, from the uninspired menu to the atrocious execution of dishes.

The Ross Omelette with Pav, a Goan staple, was a travesty. The flavors were muted, the texture unpalatable, and it lacked the robust, comforting essence it should exude. French Toast, a seemingly simple dish, was shockingly subpar—overly soggy and bereft of the balance between sweetness and crispness one expects.

The Turkish Eggs with Tomatoes was a glaring misrepresentation. A far cry from the authentic dish, it was more akin to an underwhelming tomato piece with a poached egg floating aimlessly. The Avocado Bread Toast, albeit the most tolerable item, was painfully mediocre, its potential squandered by uninspired seasoning and stale bread.

Despite the promise of indulgence in a luxurious setting, Lalit Goa's breakfast failed spectacularly. The lack of attention to detail and an apparent disregard for authenticity left an indelible mark—unfortunately, not the one they’d hope for. If breakfast is indeed the most important meal of the day, Lalit Goa’s Corta's offering is an abject lesson in how not...

Apart from the delicious the food, I found a 5 star restaurant's to be REALLY POOR IN THEIR SERVICE. We entered late for dinner but the staff seemed too much in a hurry to shut down the space instead of serving the guests. They were in such a hurry that they even switched off the lights in between our meal and out of their so called courtesy said "WE'LL SWITCH ON THE LIGHTS FOR 5 MINS" WHICH WAS PRETTY DISRESPECTFUL. Even a small restaurant/shack doesn't do that here in Goa after having visited so many! We ended up parceling our rest of the food and upon asking for a carry bag because we had curry item, the staff started giggling and kept repeating "carry bag chaiye" and continued this. YOU DEFINITELY DON'T EXPECT A 5-STAR RESTAURANTS STAFF TO BE SO ILL-MANNERED. And ofcourse you choose a restaurant like this for the experience, which in our case WAS TERRIBLE, especially for the price. And to top it of, The AMBIENCE of the place is JUST LIKE ANOTHER SHACK nothing great not even proper dim lights on the beach facing table, which we received upon asking. Wow! Never have I ever had such an experience in any of the 5-star properties. Although the food was great, no...

Very premium and peaceful restaurant at palolem beach south goa. This property comes under The Lalit golf resort. It on the beach . They serve a very delicious food with amazing drinks. Soothing environment with sea waves looks amazing. If you want to have a romantic dinner with you partner, they will arrange a beautiful sitting with lights on beach for you. I am a vegetarian so I ordered stuffed cheese mushrooms and the dish was wow. Food is really tasty. You will find a premium gathering here. Staff is also nice and friendly.

Food was nothing to rave about. Great mocktails, but poor presentation. Service is quite bad over lunch. We were the only people there, and they still ignored us. They were busy trying to get the restaurant ready for dinner guests, where as they should be busy taking care of the guests who are already there. Quite disappointed as we drove all the way from Candolim- Two and Half Hour drive - one way to try this place out. ☹️
