So we dropped by this place last week just for couple of beers, we were not even thinking of food to be honest cause we came here after our lunch. The owner Bhaskar is also the chef and he gave us a friendly welcome. After a while we saw the wall next to our table stacked up with rave reviews and decided to order. We are glad that we took that decision which helped us set the meals for our next three days. The food was so damn good that even after being full we ate two chicken starters and were craving for more. Honestly i have never had such fresh food soo deliciously prepared with this level of flavour profiles even in Marriott and Sheraton. The first thing i said and i will always say is 'THIS GUY IS GIFTED.' To add to your experience he is also extremely humble, open to feedback, attentive and passionate about his food. You cannot go wrong with this place. The remaining three days of my holiday i was just waiting for the meal time. What i ate? Almost everything but here's to name a few Chicken kurkurit with white sauce ( just melts in your mouth) Chicken honey chilli ( perfectly balanced sweet and spicy) Prawn rava fry ( I still get dreams about eating this....i bet you will never have such quality prawn so delicately prepared and it's unbelievable flavour profile) Chicken ghee roast ( Rich and stands by it's name ) Chiken tawa ( with hint of sweet corn, belive me so many chicken starters but all taste completely different and have unique ingredients to tickle your tastebuds not to mention the succulent texture) Kingfish rava fry ( again fish so fresh and so delicately handled with mouth watering masala, just loved it) For main course he also prepared a special chicken dish with green gravy which had rich clove profile cooked with rum ( another flavoursome dish for food connoisseurs) For vegetarian too you get same delicious flavours Apart from starters the thalis too are outstanding. The prawn masala thali is spicy but tasty and worth every bite. The prawn curry and crab flavours will take you to another dimension. The prawns masala dry in the thali is a masterpiece, it has aged ingredients and the richness of taste is unimaginable. The yellow authentic goan curry is just heavenly. Quality, quantity, taste everything is just too good to be true.
I can keep on writing about this food experience which was rich and inviting with lip smacking and finger licking flavours. We generally plan food around our stay but next time i am going to plan my stay around my food. The moment you step in this place you'll feel their young and vibrant energy. Extremely active and on their feet to serve you great food. Passion is what you can't miss experiencing at this place. Food with tender, juicy textures with choice of flavours, this place will satisfy all your food cravings.
P.S. The food...
Read moreNo service at all Awaited 1:30 hour still left without food
Let me remind you after the first 20 mins we waited for 45 mins and the other table was served all items including non veg and Indo Chinese cuisine we had ordered fried rice which was ignored at first go then you mentioned chicken thali was not available but that should have shared while taking order as you shared for king fish thali
Unfortunately you end up giving reasons like it takes time We should show patience (45 mins is nothing for you I guess ) We are short staffed due to off season ( kids along with us won’t understand this they need food that’s it )
If it’s taking time go to customer and tell them it’s taking time so we might consider it
But you didn’t bothered to let customer know about timing and we waited on food And left empty stomach ( non veg foodies )
Hope you improve your service and take order on priority basis and improvise...
Read moreVisited this place since it was close to our stay, and honestly I wasn't expecting much. But the service was great, and to my delight they had pet cats! I only met 2 of them, one an introvert and another super friendly. Coming to the food, I loved the king fish rava fry and squid batter fry starter. However the veg options could have been a bit better, we had tried the egg fried rice with a Goan veg dish and paneer chilly starter. I'd recommend this place for it's good vibes and if you are looking for something...
