D'Gos Bar + Kitchen — Restaurant in Goa

Over the last couple of years, I've tried several times to visit this place. At first, I couldn't find it. Then I found it and it was dismantled. Then it was closed. Then there was Covid... I was beginning to feel that it was like Brigadoon, the mythical Scottish village that only appears at odd times and otherwise doesn't exist. I finally got there last night! And it was well-worth the effort and the wait. D'Gos Bar and Kitchen is in a wonderful location, overlooking the sea and estuary. The place has a clean, light, airy feel to it and very relaxing vibe. The owner / manager was very friendly, attentive, informative and welcoming. The tables along the waterfront were well-spaced out and perfectly positioned for diners to enjoy the lovely setting. I should also mention the toilets as I know that, particularly for women, these can make or break a place. I am happy to report that these were immaculate. The men's even had a view out over the river! I was there from just after five to just before seven and was only meeting up with friends for a few drinks. Hence, we didn't have any food. But the menu was very tempting. Okay, there weren't pages and pages of different dishes. Instead there was just a small, well-balanced selection on offer. Personally, that's something I prefer. Better to do a few things really well than lots of things poorly. Seeing the food arrive at other tables, it looked wonderful. And the opinions of other diners was that it was very good indeed. And all at a very reasonable price too. As daylight turned to dusk, the scenes of the sun setting into the sea were simply gorgeous. I and my friends have promised ourselves that we shall return very soon and this time we will be dining. I'm already looking forward to it. It really is a magical place. Just hope that, unlike Brigadoon, it doesn't...

Lovely sundowner bar in Siolim - really chill vibes with a great atmosphere. Come here if you wanna sit back, relax and watch the sun go down from a view that you won't find anywhere else in Goa. They've got good pastas, cold beer and groovy music to boot. I visited them in Dec 2020 and the sundowner vibe was beautiful. Recommended for taking it easy as its located away from the mad hustle-bustle and crowds and offers a peaceful vibe...

Hidden gem ! The place is beautiful. Sundowners here are a bliss.. Kushal and his team take care of you well and make you feel at home.. food is sumptuous though limited, im sure there are plans to have an elaborate menu later.. very nice and quaint place away from the hustle bustle.. would definitely...
