Fish ka Bar and Restaurant isn't trying to win any awards for interior design. Think simple, casual vibes, more like a friendly neighborhood spot than a fancy night out. But what it lacks in frills, it more than makes up for in friendly service and delicious food.

The staff here are the real stars. They're super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, happy to answer questions and guide you towards the perfect dish.

While I usually stick to beers when I visit, their cocktails get high marks for being refreshing and inventive.

But let's get to the good stuff: the food! Everything I've tried here has been fantastic. Their creamy sauce chicken and prawns are a must-order, with a flavor that will have you coming back for more. However, my personal favorite is the barbecue ribs. The meat is melt-in-your-mouth tender and juicy, simply falling off the bone. They also know how to cook a steak, my medium-rare arriving perfectly cooked and swimming in a delicious pepper sauce.

Don't forget to start your meal off right! Their French onion soup is a revelation, a rich and flavorful broth brimming with caramelized onions and topped with melty cheese.

And speaking of desserts! I've tried them all, and both the brownie with vanilla ice cream and the apple pie are true winners.

This lovely afternoon I had the pleasure of devouring some fantastic Grilled Pork chops and some amazing Pork belly chili fry at an amazing upscale restaurant @ Betalbathi, South Goa. The restaurant was very easy to find, ample parking space and amazing staff who are warm and welcoming. I was very impressed by this staff member named Nabin Rai, who hails from Assam and had immense knowledge about the food preparation and menu. Knowing that Pork was my favourite he suggested Grilled Pork chops and Pork belly chili fry and some lime soda to accompany it. The Grilled Pork chops were cooked to ultimate perfection and an absolute delight to devour. It had a slight char on the outside and was juicy and succulent on the inside. The generous marinade added a depth of flavours and complemented well with the natural sweetness of tender pork. The portion size was generous and it was accompanied with veggies and mashed potato. The Pork chili fry was superb. It was very tender and succulent. Flavours were enhanced with a nice drizzle of lime juice and of course the spices was very much in balance. The portion size was generous too. A must try. The price was very reasonable especially considering the portion size and the quality of the dish. Overall I would definitely recommend the Grilled Pork chops and Pork belly chili fry to all the pork lover's who would visit this lovely place for a delicious and satisfying meal.
