Review: House of Chapora - A Disappointing Experience

During my recent visit to House of Chapora, I was left thoroughly disappointed by several aspects of the venue. The ambiance was surprisingly dull and lacked any vibrant energy or excitement. The overall vibe felt remarkably dead, which was not what I anticipated from a place that promotes itself as a lively destination.

The drink prices were shockingly high and did not align with the quality or experience offered. Paying a premium for beverages that were nothing out of the ordinary was quite disheartening.

Furthermore, the hygiene standards were alarmingly poor, especially in the restroom facilities. The toilets were among the dirtiest I have encountered, which was not only unpleasant but also reflected poorly on the establishment's upkeep. There were dried unknown substance on the pillows and bedsheets provided for the sitting.

Service was another sore point during my visit. The staff seemed disinterested and unresponsive, making it challenging to enjoy the evening. The lack of attentiveness and professionalism was disappointing.

Most notably, the overall atmosphere was quite somber, with many patrons appearing disenchanted or dissatisfied. It was surprising to observe so many seemingly unhappy faces, which further contributed to the subdued ambiance.

Lastly, the entry fee of 2500 rupees for a couple was exorbitant, considering the underwhelming experience provided. This steep charge did not correlate with the overall value received during my time at House of Chapora.

In conclusion, my visit to House of Chapora was marked by a series of letdowns, ranging from the lifeless atmosphere and overpriced drinks to poor hygiene standards and lackluster service. Given these disappointing factors, I would caution others from expecting much from this...

From the moment you walk up the stairs to La Sosta you are greeted with a traditional Buona Sera, which warmed my heart immediately! Taken to our seats and offered water and a drinks menu. Then the food!!! Absolutely amazing. We shared 4 antipasto for entrees. Delicious calamari, capressio, croquettes and chorizo Then our mains, my husband thoroughly enjoyed his risotto and I was over the moon with my pizzoccheri (a traditional dish from the Valtellina area) Deserts that followed were equally as good Definitely be going back to this wonderful place. Great for couples or a big group The owner of this restaurant expanded the restaurant after signing an agreement with me to purchase the lease of my neighboring pet salon. The offer was good and I took it, abandoning all of my hard work. His wife went missing shortly after and he proceeded to remodel my old shop as his expansion project. It was rumored after the truth came out that he had murdered his wife that she had been buried within the foundation. After law enforcement searches and some digging...they did not find her. I'd like to include that this man verbally lashed out on me after I asked him why he did not adhere to our contract by not paying me for the sale of the lease. I never received a dime for abandoning my pride and joy. He is an awful business man and I wouldn't even consider eating his food again. A terrible tragedy to hit the Lomita area. This place needs to be put out...

I attended an after-party at this venue with high expectations, especially considering the steep rs1500 entry fee. The crowd and music were spot on, creating a vibrant and exciting atmosphere. The music, in particular, was a highlight, perfectly aligning with my tastes and setting the stage for what should have been an unforgettable night.

However, the experience was significantly marred by the service, particularly at the bar. One of the staff members with long dreadlocks displayed a noticeable attitude and consistently ignored my requests. Despite giving him several chances, his behavior only worsened over the course of the evening. This not only was frustrating but also impacted my overall enjoyment of the event.

The poor service was a stark contrast to the lively environment and fantastic music, turning what could have been a great night into a disappointing experience. It's unfortunate that the behavior of one staff member can so profoundly affect the atmosphere of an event.

In conclusion, while the party had the potential for a great experience, the lack of professional service, especially for the price paid, was a letdown. This experience has left me hesitant to return or recommend this...

House of Chapora near Chapora Fort in Goa presents a unique vibe that caters to a specific crowd but falls short for others. With a distinctive atmosphere, it resonates well with a particular set of people, but it's not everyone's cup of tea. Unfortunately, the food taste doesn't match the uniqueness of the place. The food taste is subpar, and I wouldn't recommend it. Moreover, the drinks are on the pricey side, and the service is disappointingly slow and poor. The music choice leans heavily toward trance and reggae genres, appealing only to those with a specific taste for such vibes. If you're not a fan of these genres, the musical experience might not be enjoyable. Location is always traffic prone cause it’s very narrow and secluded from the city. House of Chapora seems to be tailored for a specific crowd that enjoys partying till the early hours. They organize parties that align with this vibe, making it suitable only for those seeking an all-night party scene. If you're not looking for such an experience or have had drinks earlier, it might be wise to avoid this place. In short, House of Chapora appears to be overhyped and more suitable for a niche audience.

Must visit place if you are a techno head. Every day they have different artists playing for the party and the beats are crazy! The registration fees was bit expensive. The underground party starts around 10 in the night and continues till dawn. Met some amazing people from the event. There are lots of hopes for meeting new people and connecting. The vibes are immaculate! There is a kind of magical and spiritual feeling all around. The place is decorated very aesthetically and it savours our mind and eyes. There are beds for sleeping incase you doze off between the party. One of the best place was the toilet. I have never ever been to such an aesthetically placed toilet. The interiors were giving hippie and boho vibes. There was food being served. We ordered french fries and momos. Average. We danced all night to the techno and electronic beats. Best place to visit with your friends and party all out and meet new people.👯‍♀️🎊 Would love to visit once again😌.

Honestly, this deserves 0 stars. Absolutely horrendous experience. Firstly, set your expectations clearly. You're paying for self-service and way below average vibes. Not sure how we even got recommended this place. They charge a high entry fee, not even a cover charge. When you enter, you're not allotted a table and you should sit where you find a place because entry fee and table fee are different. Secondly, you have to go and order food which has a limited & tasteless menu. The food is served in paper plates. And if you want water, remember to grab it from a dispenser with plastic cups. They told us the party vibes will build after 11 pm. We stayed till 1 am with high hopes to atleast get our entry fee's worth. We were told some shows would happen once the crowd builds up, never did. Finally left. Highly highly not recommended.
