Jess Family Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Goa

Hungry and tired we reached the restaurant around 12:40 pm and didn’t really know what to expect but as soon as we entered we saw people ready with food options and seats for people to cater.. without any doubt a lovely restaurant with Goan vibes and goan food.. we ordered veg thali , lepo rava fry, prawns fry and a bangda fish thali .. and when presented it with heart gave a small wink ..feeling happy about the portion and the size of the fish.. obviously we got started with eating and more peoplestarted joining and in no time all seats were full and there was a queue to wash hands .. and it became a place with people enjoying food and having a good time.. and I tried the lepo fry for the first time ever.. the way they made it makes me want to eat lepo again.. and the bangda had recheado masala perfectly balanced and yum .. and all the curries were good too.. so its definitely a place I would go again if In around verna to enjoy a good...

Good local place to chill with a hill view. Reached here and exactly it started raining, so that definitely added oomph to my experience. I like rains and the smell of the earth + hill view lush green. Amazing experience The person who served us was very nice and friendly which made our experience even better. Food - we tried their rechado prawn which were alright, some prawns were veryfresh and some were a little squishy but overall taste wise it was decent . We also tried tawa chicken which was a star dish, really good. Service was fast and prompt. Ambience was very local and nice, you do find men drinking and all but don't be alarmed .
