Read moreI visited MISU for dinner with my friends, hoping to enjoy some Asian fusion cuisine by the river side. However, I was disappointed by the food, service, and value of this restaurant.
The food was overpriced considering the quality and presentation. The portion size was small and not satisfying. The fish items were not that tasty as they should be. They lacked flavor and freshness. The other dishes were mediocre and bland.
The service was slow and inefficient. The staff seemed to be new and frequently got confused on where to deliver the orders to. We had to wait for a long time to get our food and drinks. The staff were not attentive or friendly.
The only redeeming factor of this restaurant was the ambience. The place was pretty and cozy, with a nice view of the river. The lighting and music were pleasant and relaxing. However, this was not enough to make up for the poor food and service.
The parking could also be made a little better. There was not enough space for all the cars and we had to park far away from the entrance. The parking lot was dark and muddy.
Overall, I would not recommend MISU to anyone looking for a good Asian fusion restaurant. There are much better options in the city with better food, service, and value. MISU was a waste of time and money.
I hope this review helps you. If you want me to change anything or add more details, please...
Read moreMISU is one of those places that has a lot of potential but fall very short because of bad management.
We went there with family friends. They couldn't recommend it highly enough. But aside from the friendly and helpful security guard who held our door open, service was so slack, it could be classified as incompetent. The waiter who took our order had to be told each item at least four or five times. And he still managed to forget a a dish and mess up another.
Our drinks came quickly enough but the food was a whole new story!
We waited for 45 minutes before one of the two ordered mackerel recheado masala arrived and it was charred. It was also not authentic. It was just an anemic tomato paste, with a strong flavor of vinegar. No kick, no bite.... not authentic at all.
We left after trying unsuccessfully to catch the waiter's eye after close to an hour had passed, and no other food had arrived. Meanwhile other diners came, ate and left. But we were left to wait on the pending mackerel, some chilly prawns, a xacuti and some rotis. There was no apology and the duty manager continued to try and justify the delay and tell us we owed him the time to listen to his lame explanations.
It's a real shame. MISU has a great location, is right on the river and could have been a really...
