I had the pleasure of dining at Mom's Recipes twice, and both visits offered distinct yet flavorful experiences. Here’s a summary of my meals:
First Visit:
Chicken Crispy – The dish featured tender chicken pieces coated in a crispy batter served with crispy noodles. Butter Chicken – Classic and comforting, this dish did not disappoint. Chicken Hyderabadi Dum Biryani (with bones) – This biryani was aromatic, and the chicken was tender and well-marinated. The flavor, while decent, could have had more depth. Still, it was a solid dish for those who enjoy milder spice levels. Mango Basil Bellini - It had a delightful tropical twist. Caramel Pudding –The caramelized top added a slight bitterness that balanced the richness of the pudding, making it a delightful way to end.
The restaurant was fully packed during our visit, but our waiter, John, was kind enough to arrange a special table for us, which made our experience even more enjoyable.
Second Visit:
Crispy Cheesy Gobi – The cauliflower was coated in a light, cheesy batter that added a perfect crunch. Paneer Crunchy Cutlets – Crispy on the outside and soft inside, the paneer was nicely prepared, though it could have used a bit more seasoning to really stand out. Crispy Prawn Bombs – A must-try for seafood lovers, the prawns were coated in a light and crispy batter, packed with flavor. This dish was definitely a highlight. Stuffed Mushrooms – Unfortunately, this dish was a bit disappointing. The mushrooms had a weird flavor and lacked the juicy, flavorful bite you would expect from a stuffed dish. It didn’t quite live up to the rest of the meal. Veg Triple Schezwan Fried Rice – This was a flavorful dish, packed with vegetables and a bold Schezwan sauce. Chicken Cafreal – This dish was full of bold, zesty flavors. It was a definite highlight and perfect for those who enjoy punchy flavors. Chicken Ghee Roast – Rich and indulgent, this dish was packed with buttery goodness. It’s a good dish for those who love rich, traditional Indian flavors.
Overall, Mom's Recipes provides a comforting and flavorful dining experience, with a few standout dishes and some that could use a bit more seasoning or refinement. It’s a great spot for family dinners or a casual lunch with a wide range of both vegetarian and...

Okay so outside they have “Lambretta” scooter outside which just show the owners love towards our old attraction. I still remember my uncle had class those time driving it. This scooter here has registration ‘GDC 6941’ unfortunately I guess it’s not valid and just for photography. Would have been fun driving it. 😍 again outside there is big TV put outside which is visible inside too with table position in a way it can be properly seen. Watching IPL enjoying food was fun.
When we entered there was lots of creativity showcased inside. Be it menu card also. Even the Salt and pepper container was in shape of Egg. Chairs and table had old Goan look (Portuguese Style). Made art with rope. Hanging nest and etc etc. Overall ambience is too good and classy.
Staff are friendly and good at dining etiquette. Just like in 5 star meals are serve one after other and not at once that etiquette was properly maintained. Even they are very skilled at serving. Changing of plate at right time.
Coming toward food all the dishes we ordered were just exceptionally tasty. Even price is moderate but reasonable. I guess it worth the price. Freshly prepared Biryani covered with Dough they open it in front of us. Tikka plater was too good, chicken was properly cooked and hot. I could see steam Coming out from the food.
Only thing I didn’t like much was Naan rest all were too tasty. Should try. I could say whatever you choose would...

We started with the Chicken Manchow Soup – it was really tasty and had the perfect thickness. Just the right amount of spice and very comforting.
Then we had Cheese Garlic Naan – it was decent but the cheese was too much and kind of covered up the garlic taste. Would have been better with a little balance.
The Chicken Cafreal was the highlight – super flavourful, served with fries (no potatoes in it though, which was unusual). Still, the taste was amazing and somehow perfectly balanced.
Tried the Chicken Biryani too, but that was disappointing. Even though the quality was nice, the gravy was green and tasted more like Cafreal than biryani. Didn’t feel like a proper biryani at all. Wouldn’t recommend this one.
Service was great at first but slowed down a bit later. Nothing too bad though.
The interior is really beautiful – a very traditional Goan vibe. Loved the look and feel of the place.
The interior of Mom’s Recipes is honestly one of the best parts of the place. It has a strong traditional Goan vibe that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into an old Goan home. The wooden furniture, tiled floors, vintage-style windows, and warm lighting all come together beautifully. There are small details everywhere – from the wall decor to the crockery – that give it a very homely and nostalgic feel. It’s cozy, welcoming, and perfect if you want to enjoy a relaxed meal in a peaceful, aesthetic setting. You can tell a lot of thought went into...
