I used to take away Medu wada or batat wada quite often from here. Taste was good, so also was service and staff behavior. Then I noticed hygiene issue here. They keep Medu wada and such items open in one container right over the counter which is at the entrance. Then, many of those take away customers touch or feel the food with bare hands to check if it's hot / freshly prepared. Worst is some of them wait for their parcel at the counter breathing right over the food items. Cannot rule out anyone coughing or snizzing also over the food. You get neer dosa here! We made sure we took that as a parcel to enjoy it at home because this was something my granny used to prepare for morning breakfast. They serve it with garlic chutney, potato bhaji and coconut sweet dish. We had an evening snack of Bombay pav bhaji and cheese Bombay pav bhaji with tea. The tea was prepared very well. Recently, been very disappointed with their service. U pay them n wait for ur parcel n instead the guy at the counter hands over ur parcel to the next guy who just entered. Literally made me wait for 35mins for samosas n a plate of Kanda bhaji. They get few stuff from outside also n don't specify whether ur own order is ready or not. On top their prices have gone high with a longer wait fr service. Other places serve good goan samosas at rs15 n this at rs20.
