My last experience at Oliveto, St Regis Goa Resort was so great that I had to plan my next visit to explore their other outlets. During my recent visit to the Riverside at St. Regis Goa Resort, I was treated to an exquisite Pan-Asian dining experience that left a lasting impression. Nestled by the serene riverside, the ambiance of the restaurant perfectly complements its culinary offerings, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and elegance.

I started my meal with the Horenso-ae, a delightful spinach dish that was both refreshing and flavorful. The delicate balance of flavors in the sesame dressing highlighted the natural taste of the spinach, making it a light yet satisfying appetizer. I specially loved the presentation with evenly cut vegetables and amazing artwork.

Next, I tried the Haricot Beans Crystal, which was a revelation. The beans were perfectly cooked to retain their crunch, and the subtle seasoning allowed their freshness to shine. It was a simple yet sophisticated dish that embodied the essence of fine dining.

The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the Chongqing Tofu.The tofu was impeccably prepared, with a crispy exterior and a tender, flavorful interior. The spicy and aromatic sauce it was served with added a wonderful depth of flavor, making each bite a delightful experience. This was beautifully complemented by the Chilli Basil Fried Rice, which was fragrant and had the perfect amount of heat, enhancing the overall enjoyment of the meal. To round off the evening, I indulged in a Hibiscus Mocktail This refreshing drink was the perfect accompaniment to the spicy and savory dishes. Its floral notes and slight tartness provided a delightful contrast, cleansing the palate and leaving a pleasant aftertaste.

Overall, Riverside at St. Regis Goa Resort offered a sublime dining experience with its impeccable service, serene ambiance, and, most importantly, its exquisite Pan-Asian cuisine. I was surprised and delighted to explore the vast menu with offerings for pure vegetarians like myself. Firstly, We were very impressed by the hospitality and quality of service. The only thing that irked me was when I rang up for reservation for the Italian restaurant at 0919 hrs on 03 Sept, the person who picked up the phone said, that there is no reservation available and all tables were booked. I rang up again after 10 mins at 0930 hrs to give them with my mobile number so as to advise me if there are any cancellation. This time Mr Arjun picked up the phone and he straight away invited us and booked a seat for us and claimed that there are a lot of tables for reservation.. I fail to understand how things changed or was the first person who picked my phone was just not interested. We reached the restaurant at 2000 hrs.
