That’s what we said as soon as we entered TARVOTI, the fine dining restaurant at THE PIER SEASIDE BISTRO @thepierseasidebistro . You would be amazed too, at the view from the restaurant.
The Pier Seaside Bistro is located at Cruise Terminal, Opp to Custom House, Mormugao Harbour, Vasco, Goa. The Pier is a combo of 03 unforgettable experiences - TARVOTI ( Fine Dine Restaurant) , STARBOARD ( Rooftop Bar & Grill ) & AC BANQUET.
The food and drinks at the restaurant were delicious, scrumptious and lip smacking good. And with a view so beautiful, you wouldn’t want to miss it for anything. We visited the restaurant for a sundowner hour and loved the whole experience. Highly recommended for good times, good vibes and good food. 💯

Specially traveled 40 kms to try this restaurant , but very sure now that I will never go here again First, the good points : Taste was decent and the view was good overlooking the Arabian sea. Now ,what went wrong : Ordered a Pasta dish which was listed under Pasta section, only to shockingly discover it has no pasta in it, this after checking with the server at the time of ordering explicitly.Summoned the manager , who argued that though it is listed as Pasta, this is how it is served.Thats not where the horror ends.The other main course we ordered, we waited for close to an hour and on re-enquiring , were shamelessly told that the waiter never passed the order to the kitchen and forgot about it.Not a hint of remorse or apology by any of the staff members about both the above mistakes .I am not sure whether the bloke who was summoned at our table on our request was even the manager. Even ignoring the long wait time for the order to arrive, it was an excruciatingly bad experience brought upon by the incompetency of the hotel staff.Worst , they don't seem to care.
It's not the wait time alone, after an hour, when we checked with the waiter, he remoreselessly said he forgot to pass the order, this shows lack of professionalism and dont care attitude towards customers, that chap dint even offer to expedite the order despite...

An amazing place by the sea side. The Pier has three parts where the first floor is occupied by a restaurant, second by a cafe and top/ terrace by BBQ dinning. Cafe is good. Restaurant has amazing view of the sea, but it's all rock close by and you can not enter the sea. Port trust pier close by and hence the name.
The roof top or terrace is open only for groups bookings. Do enquire before you go. The manager told they could arrange it for 10-15 PPL tooo....
Coming to restaurant, easy accessibility, ample parking and no crowding at all. There is no competition close by. The pier is the king of Mormugao port. I think presently only the locals know about the place. For tourists coming all the way , just to eat might not be logical, as no other activities to do nearby.
Hoping to services, all COVID protocols followed. All personnel wore mask. Nice hygiene and sanitation. They do lack in number of staffs but remaining staff makes up for it. Food preparation is good and time taken is decent. Portions are good except one odd dishes. Taste is at par with any starred hotel. Drinks are also resonable. Some discount was offered on Goa's 60th independence.
Evening will be good to visit this place. Night time really not sure, how the setup will turn out. But nonthless, do visit and enjoy the panoramic...
