Seaside Restaurant & Bar – A Perfect Evening by the Waves
We recently had the pleasure of dining at Tomatos, a vibrant Seaside Restaurant & Bar, and the experience was nothing short of delightful. Located right by the shore, the place exudes a breezy, laid-back charm while still delivering a lively and entertaining vibe.
The ambience instantly set the mood for the evening – soft golden lighting, the sound of waves in the background, and a beautifully set-up space that blends rustic seaside décor with modern touches. Adding to the atmosphere was a live DJ spinning upbeat tracks, perfectly matched with a thrilling fire performance that turned dinner into a mini celebration. It wasn’t just a meal, it felt like being part of an event.
For starters, we ordered Baked Loaded Veg Nachos – crispy tortilla chips generously topped with melted cheese, fresh veggies, jalapeños, and a hearty dose of tangy salsa. Every bite had the perfect balance of crunch, spice, and creaminess. The Veg Mezze Platter was equally impressive, featuring 2-3 varieties of hummus, baba ganoush, falafel, grilled Paneer Tikka Cubes and warm pita bread. The dips were smooth, flavourful, and fresh, making it a wholesome sharing platter for the table.
To go with the food, we enjoyed a round of cocktails – refreshing, well-balanced, and beautifully presented. The beers were chilled to perfection, making them ideal companions for the warm, breezy evening.
Overall, this Seaside Restaurant & Bar offers not just good food and drinks, but an atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. With the combination of flavour-packed dishes, stunning ocean views, great music, and the added thrill of a live fire show, it’s a place worth visiting for both a romantic evening or a fun night out with friends. They accept Zomato Gold and Swiggy Dine out as well. Highly recommended seaside bar & restaurant for a romantic cozy dinner date or a dinner with...
Read moreI recently dined at Tomatos Seaside Restaurant in Morjim, Goa a charming seaside restaurant with one of the most stunning beach views I’ve experienced. The moment I stepped in, the sound of gentle waves and the salty ocean breeze set the perfect mood. Large glass windows and an open terrace ensured every seat had a front-row view of the golden sunset.
The ambiance was relaxed yet stylish, with soft lighting, rustic wooden furniture, and tasteful nautical décor. The staff greeted us warmly and guided us to a table right by the railing overlooking the beach—truly the highlight of the evening.
For starters, we ordered the spicy rings and cocktail. The rings was crispy and well-seasoned, while the cocktail was fresh and tangy. For the main course, I went for the lemon rice, and my companion chose the pasta. Both dishes were delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. The pasta sauce was rich without being heavy, and the snapper flaked beautifully with each bite.
The drinks menu offered a great selection of tropical cocktails, and my mango mojito was refreshing, with just the right hint of sweetness. For dessert, the coconut panna cotta was a pleasant surprise—light, creamy, and subtly sweet.
Service was attentive but not rushed, though the wait time for the main course was slightly longer than expected. The only other drawback was that the live music, while good, was a touch too loud for easy conversation.
Overall,Tomatos Seaside Restaurant in Morjim, Goa offers a near-perfect combination of good food, warm service, and a breathtaking beachside view. While a few small improvements could make it a five-star experience, I would gladly return for another evening by the shore.
Talking about the parking area, valet parking is there which will cost around 500 rupees and after wards reduced from the fair...
Read moreThis was my third visit to Tomatos, Morjim. I always loved the atmosphere and vibes here even though the overall restaurant is super expensive...!
This visit was a sheer disappointment...! I went to this place, along with my family and 2 other families. It was my recommendation but disappointment for every one.
We suggested that we would prefer the Beachside tables but we were denied with some rubbish reasons like it could cause delay to provide a table and all... Then we accepted to settle on just little inside table. The DJ speaker was right close to us and the loud music was unbearable.
In such a polished restaurant, we had to bear a company of number of flies... They were everywhere... On our bodies, on the food dishes, our Drinks- tasting them before we could and kissing us on overall body...
Number of times, We requested the available staff, to provide us the remedy. Few of them tried with shifting big floor stand fan pointing towards us but in no vain. Finally, one of the staff said - WE CANNOT DO ANYTHING ELSE...!!! Was such a RUDE answer...
When it came to paying of the Bill, we were charged something called, in a Glorious Name of -, STAFF CONTRIBUTION... It was not a small amount. 10% of overall of your Bill Value.
It seems Restaurant Management is so poor and not making enough profits (even after over priced Food and Drinks) they are trying to pull out extra money from customers to pay their staff...!!! Great Work...!!! Great Loot...!!!
When I approached the Cashier and inquired if paying the STAFF CONTRIBUTION was mandatory? He grudgingly replied that it wasn't and handed over me a cash refund of a significant portion of the money, as I had already paid the amount through card and after payment noted the fact of STAFG...
