SKVT Anbu Bhavan — Restaurant in Gobichettipalaiyam

A horrid and disgusting experience. It's better for them to drop down the Chinese and indo Chinese cuisine from their menu. We had ordered Chapattis, chilli idly, chilli parota, veg parota and paneer manchurian. All the above mentioned items were mentioned in their special menu. Based on the local people recommendations we went to this shop after traveling for over 120 kms. Taste was disgruntful. Veg parota and chilli parota was not available and the same was conveyed to us after waiting for more than 20 mins. Chilli idly was soaked in chenna masala and paneer manchurian was dead burnt. Only chapattis were good enough for eating. This hotel left us with horrid memory and ₹500 bill. No car parking and have to be careful with towed away by the police. No cards or you payments accepted. Only cash. Even these days petty shops are much more advanced than these kind of so called traditional shops. Be aware of this shop if you are visiting...

Showed up to the restaurant and waited there for about 30 mins to be served and Never was served!!!. Not a single server came up to take our order or even greet us.

The managers and the owner (assuming the person behind the cashier counter) was just sitting there staring at us while telling their employees to serve us but didn't have courtesy to day hello while our order was to be taken.

MANAGERS AND OWNERS are still Employees of a business.

I have dined at this restaurant before and have catering orders for events holding thousands of people in this city. The food is Mediocre.

It's our first visit. The place is located on the main Junction. We went for lunch and we order meals since they don't have much choice. We loved the food, it's almost South Indian Thali. Rice served with Sweet, vegetable fry, Sambar, Rasam, buttermilk and puppet. Place can accommodate around 150 (Approx) people. One thing is, they have more working people inside, especially the female and they are keep chatting loudly is quite annoying. Also, the Car Parking was quite tight, if it's full, they will direct you to park in other Parking or on the road near Petrol pump. This place is recommend...
