22nd Parallel Karelibaug — Restaurant in Gujarat

This outlet is duplicate. Owner is not concerned with your satisfaction. I ordered Panchvarna Uttapam. Size of uttapam was as small as idli whereas food menu suggest otherwise. Informed owner but he seems not interested. Refer pictures for better understanding. One should go to Alkapuri outlet if you realy wish to have south indian food. These guys are not bothered so why to trouble them. Better give chance to others who are inclined to serve. Edited 30Nov Dear Owner, Your statement is misleading. You did not address my concern. I informed you over phone and you wanted picutes of delivered product which I shared over watsapp. You did not even bother to acknowledge or respond after that. I waited for 24 hr before putting this review. Moreover you responded to my review in no time but no resolution to my original complaint on Uttapam. Your response to quality/quantity issue is still pending at your end. I remember once I faced issue with Alkapuri outlet during peak evening time and they responded and provided resolution within no time. That's why I trust them. Even after having issue I still order from same outlet because I know that my concern will be resolved immediately if any. Why should I wait for days to get my concern resolved? You are in QSR business, your timely...

Absolutely hate giving a bad review to a place I look forward to visiting... But sadly the owner seems to have totally lost interest.... There is never a greeting when you enter the place. After an afternoon of being out in the heat we looked forward to our dosa and paniyaram. The paniyaram came out in 10/seconds......cold! We sent it back.....so we shared my dosa which was quite all right. We chatted and slowly finished my podi paper masala dosa and yet no sign of the paniyaram......which eventually turned up after several reminders. We finished even that and yet there was no sign of the masala chash we had ordered upon entering the place.....several reminders later the two glasses appeared. Since I wasn't punished enough I decided to order a filter coffee. Im sorry it was nearly inedible........ A real disaster. A whole lot of servers and yet quite disjointed......the service doors were freely kicked about under the pretense of looking busy....no designated entry and exits for them....and this was happening 3 feet away from me....

I implore....no, I beg the owners to pay heed to the standards here....we love the place and really wish it to retain its previous standard. Please take this positively....and trust me it breaks my heart to write...

I am an evergreen fan of 22nd Parallel Jetalpur road, this was the first time I was visiting the Karelibaug branch. We were a group of friends one of whom was visiting from the US and wanted to have 'good South Indian food' to which I suggested this place, but chose the Kareilbaug branch coz of proximity to homes.

Food was generally ok, but somehow the taste of the sambhar was not as good as before. Ghee roast masala dosa could have been better too (It is Always lip smacking at the Jetalpur road branch). My main concern was the avial that came with neer dosa. It was over fermented and sour. Was frankly quite shocked and disappointed, coz i have not had Any quality issues in all these years at the Jetalpur road branch. Plus, despite speaking to someone there about the avial, instead of helping with the solution, there was defensiveness and refusal to accept the problem. The owners are really great, congenial people. Kindly take a look if...
