Anand Sandwich ( Ankurwala ) — Restaurant in Gujarat

I went there seeing the amount of cheese they were adding, but unfortunately it wasn't of good quality. Cheese chutney grilled sandwich was so pathetic that i had to drink two sodas to reset my taste buds and I'm a fan of cheese so i hated the sandwich here. They should improve the quality of cheese, it would be better. Service takes too much of time, let's u wait unnecessarily. The only thing better about this place is dabeli, only if u want to try dabeli you can come here or else every other thing ordered would be waste of time and money and you would regret it.... Plus you would have to complete the food as you cannot waste it. It is an honest review in order to help foodies. No hard feelings. The uncle who was making sandwiches also was egoistic and rude. 1 ⭐

I wanted to give another review, so I went here again in the evening and I found a difference, the person at the counter as well as the person who made my sandwich was very cordial (friendly) and the one old person who is always grumpy was making something else besides him. This time I ordered Europa Sandwich there and loved it, yes it took much time as there was so much crowd, but I was totally happy with the Europa Sandwich and it tasted yum, it's a bit overpriced but it's fine for its quantity. I usually prefer its Vastrapur branch as the staff there is very friendly and serves you happily. In this branch only one old man who makes sandwiches is a bit rude other than him all are friendly and respond well. Aloo Veg jumbo grill was also delicious.

A good pro here is that you can wash your hands as well as drink cool water in this heat. Thanks for that.

#Old_is_Gold Few food points Never Gets Old. The Quality , Quantity and Value for Money remain same even after decades and Decades. Few of them are Aanand Sandwich at Ankur Cross Road. This place is always crowded at any time. And You just cant imagine the rush during #Uttarayan or #Navratri. While going to college initial years , Ankur cross road was my daily route in AMTS Bus. 200 and 300 Number circular route to Gujarat University and some time I used to get down here just for having sandwiches , Swaminarayan Khichdi or Ankur Dalwada. So many memories.
