Anil's Chatkaz — Restaurant in Gujarat

I don't usually do reviews but this would be the first review for any restaurant. So I have ordered couple of times from the place. Food is fine. But what lacks in this restaurant is the worst behaviour towards customer. No matter which restaurant it is, whether it is super busy or crowded with customer orders they will answer your food order related query or take your order. I was standing there for a while trying to ask if any of this items was available. One of the guy was asking me to go to other person and give food order. The other person was also busy with arranging parcels so I waited patiently. Even after waiting patiently the restaurant owner wasn't answering my queries properly. He was like " ye Nahi Ho banpaeyga" "ye nahi h available" that too while he was busy doing his own stuffs. This is absolute disrespect to any customer, if you're not able to talk or answer queries properly. No matter how good the food is its okay to be busy but at least spare few minutes for a customer who comes to your restaurant. Maybe Hire extra staff if you can't work on management. This is not first time I had experience but faced this same thing...

Yuck!! Is the word i can say after trying the food. I placed an order of Fishy Curry - Quarter, Kadhai Chicken Full, Mutton Masala - small and Chicken Tawa Biryani- Full Lets start by saying its below average food. They show amazing things on Instagram but when it comes to taste it was yuck!

Kadhai Chicken - 0 out of 5 Awful taste, ek dum khatta taste like seriously??? Portion size is not so FULL AS PER PRICE

Mutton Masala - 3 out of 5 Average taste nothing extraordinary

Fish Curry - 0 out of 5 It had a very foul smell

Biryani - “Minus” 100 out of 5 Seriously guys you really need to eat your own food and improve a lot! It was not even as close as Pulav. How can someone make Biryani so so so so bad and pathetic!! Chicken pieces were rubbery and non chewable! There was merely any rice

Last one : I asked owner for no Coriander but every food had Coriander

Im from mumbai and for a day had traveled to Ahmedabad. Searched online for non veg food and finally decided to visit this place with my friend. At first i thought it will just be a regular joint for food but i was totally surprised after eating their food. Had ordered chap, pomfret, bheja, prawns and winter chicken. The food was the best which i had till date in any restaurant. Taste of food will keep you wondering as to how one can prepare such delicious food. I feel like to write on and on about this place. Truly a gem in ahmedabad and the best part is that the joint is taken care by the family themselves who also are wonderful...
