A Culinary Delight at Art of Kitchen
On 23rd Aug 2024 I had the pleasure of dining at Art of Kitchen , a hidden gem nestled within the Phoenix Complex in Vadodara.
The occasion was a special birthday celebration for a close relative, and with a group of 17 people, including 3 children.
Art of Kitchen's prime location, just off the Sama-Savli Road opposite BRG Heritage, makes it easily accessible.
The restaurant's first-floor setting is convenient, especially for senior citizens, as it offers lift facilities.
Stepping into the restaurant, I was immediately impressed by its elegant ambiance. The staff were courteous and attentive, ensuring a comfortable dining experience.
The highlight, however, was the exceptional quality of the food. From the flavorful soups to the delectable starters and main courses, the paneer and naan etc. every dish was a culinary masterpiece.
The speed of service was commendable, and the chefs deserve special recognition for their skill and dedication.
Our entire group was thoroughly impressed and expressed their gratitude to the host for organizing such a memorable celebration ie. the birthday of their daughter. The evening felt like it would never end.
While the wide road leading to the restaurant provides ample space for parking, larger vehicles might need to park slightly further away. However, two-wheeler parking is not a concern.
Overall, Art of Kitchen exceeded our expectations.
The combination of a welcoming atmosphere, impeccable service, and exquisite cuisine made it a truly unforgettable...
Read moreThe restaurant is brand new, therefore, it looks clean and well organized from inside. We went for a dinner today and ordered Kabab, garlic naans, Veg. Haliyari, rice and Daal fry. Kabab was awesome, gets full marks. However, talking about main course, Veg. Haliyari was really pathetic and was test-less. We thought that it was made by mistake so we ate it. Garlic naans were also pathetic. They don’t make it fresh, they bring frozen naans and heat them and serve it. Furthermore, when we ordered daal fry we specifically mentioned how we like (as Subji was test-less). Again when we got a daal fry test-less. It test like daal and salt. Not an OTHENTIC PUNJABI DAAL. When we address this issues to the owner, he became rude and he denied to accept their mistakes. He was keep making an excuse that I have other restaurant (Basundi) as well, it runs pretty well. But, he needs to understand that both are completely different restaurants and serves different food. BASUNDI serves Gujarati whereas, ART OF KITCHEN serves Punjabi food. Why would I spend 250 Rs for Daal and 250 rs for subji if I am not getting the food in proper test.
I would request owner to make less excuses and work on mistakes mentioned by the costumers. Also, value...
Read moreI recently visited Art of Kitchen with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was a huge disappointment. The food was poorly cooked and completely underwhelming. The [veg handi] arrived with yellow gravy and staff said its brown, which made it nearly inedible. For a restaurant that touts itself as a culinary experience, the lack of attention to proper cooking was shocking.
It's clear that either the kitchen wasn’t properly staffed or the cooks didn’t care about quality. I brought this to the attention of the staff, but there was no effort to resolve the situation, and I was simply left unsatisfied and frustrated.
When you're paying for a meal at a restaurant like this, you expect food that’s not only well-prepared but also properly cooked. Sadly, this was not the case. I will not be returning, and I strongly suggest that the restaurant reevaluates their kitchen standards before serving food that could be potentially unsafe or simply...
