Visiting "Barbeque culture" on a weekend, a 45-minute wait for a table was anticipated and quite acceptable given the busy atmosphere. However, the experience unfortunately took a downturn once we were seated.
The most significant issue was the noticeable lack of service. It often felt like we were trying to flag down staff who were stretched incredibly thin. Basic requests took an extended amount of time, and there wasn't a proactive approach to checking on our needs.
Adding to the disappointment, the "unlimited" aspect advertised was misleading as several food items we inquired about were reportedly unavailable. This limitation, coupled with the average quality of the dishes we did manage to order, left us feeling underwhelmed. The flavors were decent but didn't particularly stand out.
Furthermore, even after finally placing our order, we faced an additional half-hour delay before our food arrived. This protracted wait significantly impacted our overall dining experience.
While the initial wait for a table was understandable, the subsequent lack of attentive service, limited availability of advertised items, average food quality, and the considerable delay in receiving our ordered dishes make it difficult to recommend "Barbeque culture" at this time, especially on a busy weekend.
What truly left a sour taste was the staff's reaction when we raised our concerns during payment. We politely mentioned that given the subpar service and the delayed food, we questioned the expectation of paying the full amount. The response was a blunt and unapologetic "yes," delivered without any hint of understanding or remorse.
It's disheartening when a restaurant doesn't seem to value customer satisfaction. While I understand that occasional hiccups can happen, the lack of concern displayed by the staff regarding the poor service and delayed food was quite off-putting. Based on this experience, it's difficult to recommend this...
Read moreWe reached the restaurant around 9:10 PM for dinner and were informed of a 40–50 minute waiting time. Our turn finally came around 10:00 PM, but we were given a corner table for 11 people that was not cleaned properly and had poor cooling — it was very hot and uncomfortable.
We requested a proper seating area, and the staff asked us to wait another 10 minutes, but we were finally seated only around 10:30 PM, close to closing time. I understand it was a festival weekend, but we still expected better service and basic comfort after waiting for over 1.5 hours.
Unfortunately, the service was extremely poor:
We had to repeatedly ask (10–15 times) for various food items and even for water bottles, which were insufficient for our table.
The dessert section was empty, and only after personally informing the staff did they refill it.
There seemed to be no manager supervision, and it felt like I had to manage the staff myself to get things done.
Even for ice cream, I had to request service personally before being attended to.
We were charged ₹4262 for 11 people, but the service and overall experience did not match the price or expectations. I completely understand the rush during festival days, but customers still deserve clean seating, attentive service, and a pleasant dining experience.
This was my first and last visit to Barbeque Culture, Nikol. I hope the management seriously looks into these service issues to improve future guest...
