Dosa.in — Restaurant in Gujarat

They don't provide regular water, we have to purchase water bottles cumpolsorily. No provision for washroom. There was only one person who was taking orders and he was so slow that we had to wait for atleast 15 minutes just to give our order. While eating, when we want to order something else and we raise our hand, none of their staff notices us, and even if they have seen us, they just see down at the ground and stand and gossip which felt like very distracted, unattentive and unskilled staff. Also when we ordered cold drinks, they charged Rs. 20 when on the bottle, MRP printed was Rs. 10. I asked the person sitting at the cash counter that why is he charging above MRP, he said that due to summers they get the bottle at Rs. 13 so they are charging Rs. 20 from me. He was very rude and disrespectful in talking. When I asked for payment via credit card, he said that we only accept UPI, I asked the reason, he answered that they are having the machine for accepting payment via credit card but it is not working. In a gist, they are charging premium prices for the food yet the services they provide, are hopeless. They should improve on all the above aspects, providing only good food doesn't makes sense. I would never visit this...

Worst dosa ever.. When we decide to go to restaurant, we think of food we wanna eat and then we decide the place. I had seen crowd on this place DOSA.IN in bopal. So visited. But never thought it would be a wrong decision being a crowdy place.

1. food items - we ordered jini dosa and gwalior dosa. Sambhar was pathetic. Felt like added thicker. Jini dosa had beetroot and carrot only. No cheese paneer capsicum. Nothing.
2. Water - they don't provide water. After having your food, if you wanna water, BUY bottled water from them. Since when it's bottled no idea. I don't prefer bottled water. So I did not like it. And, it's against the morale when you run a restaurant and don't provide a water.
3. Manager - When informed manager about water, he said "we keep only bottled water. If you want, but it or drink when you reach home". Such a great businessman.. Being kathiyavadi, didn't like another kathiyavadi's approach.

I have been eating jini dosas since 2012. At Bombay Street, near prahladnagar, behind pizza Hut. Best dosas ever. And, Mr. Nirmit, owner of the place, such a humble person.

South Indian food can be tricky sometimes, if the sambhar and chutney doesn’t hit good it will spoil the pleasure to have the meal. It’s been almost 6 months, I am having Dosa, Idli Sambhar and Uttapam at Dosa.in and it is not the best certainly. Sambhar is mildly spicy. Generous portions and economical price. Been to this place. Ordered onion uttampum. Was definitely not good. It was more of a sandwich than a uttapam. I think they should visit some good restaurants to know what uttampam is.They told they are making it same here from a long.Very inexpensive place almost paid 500 rs for...
