Very bad attitude of the owner there!

There is NO MFG date mentioned in any of their Products. And when I asked him about Shelf life, it's only 15 days from mfd. And all the products seemed old from the way the packets looked like and with the dust on it. The owner said " we don't mention MFD, if you want to buy then buy else leave it." Food products have a mandate to mention the MRP , batch and MFD. I think Dotivala and Surat food department should work upon this.

Dotivala Bakery is one of the oldest bakers in Surat. They are about 200 years into the business of baking. They are the first bakers to bake nankatai, irani biscuit and butter biscuits. Situated almost on the banks of river Tapi, near Makkai bridge. They have got other branches too. The range and quality of the products are awesome. Products like wheat nankatai, wheat bread etc. are very great in taste and quality. Other products like cakes, a wide range of biscuits, jam puff etc. are great. Highly recommend the products...

Refurbished space seem more congested and display is not so effective. Taste for conventional variieties are consistent and always get fresh. new packings seem good but more is expected from age old...
