Geetha Refreshment — Restaurant in Gujarat

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and frustration with my recent dining experience at your restaurant on 11/10/25 time 3.00 Pm The primary issue was the unacceptable quality of the food. I ordered a meal that included a potato preparation, which I believe to be Aloo Sabzi or a similar dish, served with Pori. The potatoes were noticeably uncooked/under-boiled, making them hard and unpleasant to eat. Furthermore, the mustard seeds (rai) used in the tempering were clearly raw and unroasted (kachhi), resulting in a bitter, raw taste that ruined the dish. Staff Misconduct and Service Failure When I brought this serious issue of uncooked food to the attention of the waiter and subsequently a second staff member, the situation escalated due to their unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. Refusal to Acknowledge the Issue: Instead of apologizing and offering a resolution, the staff members argued with me, claiming, "ye aisa ho ata hai" (this is how it is served/it happens like this). This is unacceptable—uncooked food is a failure in basic kitchen preparation and a potential health concern. Misconduct and Disrespect: I was treated with disrespect and experienced misbehavior when I requested a replacement for the uncooked dish. The staff refused to honor my request to change the sabzi and were confrontational, which is a complete failure of customer service. Poor Service: The overall service was poor, culminating in a situation where I was left with an inedible, uncooked dish and a highly negative interaction with your team. I did not receive the respect or the resolution that any paying customer deserves, especially when reporting a genuine fault with the meal. Demand for Action I demand an immediate explanation and concrete action regarding this incident: Accountability for Food Quality: Steps must be taken to ensure your kitchen standards are immediately checked and that all food, especially potatoes, is cooked thoroughly before being served to customers. Staff Training/Action: A review of the staff members' conduct is necessary. They must be trained on proper customer complaint resolution, respect, and professionalism. I expect action to be taken regarding the staff who chose to argue and misbehave instead of resolving the issue. As a customer, my experience was utterly ruined by both the uncooked food and the staff's disrespectful argumentativeness and refusal to help. I look forward to hearing what steps you will take to rectify this situation and ensure no other customer has to endure such a poor standard of food quality...

A great place to eat pocket friendly snacks and food.

Going there since a long time . There is seating of three types. One is outside in open air another on the ground floor and the ac hall on the first floor.

But it is always crowded and on weekends it is quite hard to get seats.

They serve variety of foods from chaats to pav bhaji to south indian to punjabi and chinese as well as fast foods like pizza and sandwich.

I am a great fan of their south Indian food. They serve good dhosa. Chinese starters are also good but tell them to add less oil as they add a lot of extra oil in starters. Try their idly chilly it is one of their best starters.

Chaats are also good. Main course is also good.

But a lot of people come.there for south Indian food. Their jeera rice and dal fry is very good. Also quantity is very good.

Service is quick. But just specify the things you need properly...

My Review for Geetha Refreshment (Bhatar Road Branch) I absolutely love the food at Geetha Refreshment. I’ve been visiting this place since my school days, way back in 2008. Since then, it has become one of my favorite go-to restaurants. Over the years, they’ve expanded with multiple branches across Surat, but this one on Bhatar Road is the oldest and holds a special place in my heart.

✅ Pros:

The food is consistently delicious. Quick service. Friendly and polite staff. Plenty of parking space. Wheelchair-accessible entrance. Separate AC and non-AC seating areas.

❌ Cons: The washroom area needs maintenance. There is water leakage and the health faucet is broken — definitely needs repair.

Overall, it's a great place for casual dining with quality food and decent service. Just hope they fix the...
