Giriraj Kathiyawadi Bhojanalay — Restaurant in Gujarat

A perfect hotel near Vapi for all who are expecting authentic Kathiawadi style food. We ordered methi thepla, ghee roti, dal and Sev Tamata. Of course not to forget the perfect taste of Chhas and Dal khichadi. All good items were nice and served hot. Quick service and very good staff and service. It has two wash basins and a separate toilets for gents and ladies. Ample seating tables and a banquet hall in first floor. Hotel accepts payment with cards alongwith cash. Outside hotel there is a ice Cream Shop and also a tyre repair puncture services. A perfect location on highway makes it easy to find. And if you miss it by talking a flyover and noticing little later there is a service road to take a U turn at left side and drive safe and carefully till the hotel. Ample parking space is available for both cars and two wheelers. Good food, good service and safe parking for own vehicle. Overall a good experience. Would love to visit again. Let’s start by the attitude of waiters and owners which was pathetic like they were doing us a favor by serving food while we were paying for 6 people full price , food was average tasting I have tasted better kathiyawadi food elsewhere , the AC’s were not working even though they were on and the floors were dirty and unclean. Rotis came out cold and we had to keep asking for water , salad , buttermilk a few times until they finally served it . There seems to be less staff & they can’t handle even a 1/4th full restaurant I.e about 4-5 tables. Avoid this place and instead go to nearby or across restaurants with same food menu. Giriraj Kathiyawadi is a place where you experience the authentic taste of Gujarati food. Food has a wide range of variety but nothing can beat "Shev tameta nu shaak ane Bajraa no rotla" ,there more varieties which are served here but this places is mainly known for its authentic gujarati cuisine. Budget friendly and worthy food is all you want. It is located on the National Highway (NH) no. 8 near the Bhilad overbridge.
