The highlight of "Kismat Kathiyavadi Hotel" undoubtedly lies in its delectable Kathiyavadi cuisine. The menu offers an extensive selection of traditional Gujarati dishes, each bursting with flavors that transport you to the heart of Kathiyavad. From the aromatic spices to the fresh ingredients, every dish is prepared with great care and attention to detail.
One of the standout dishes I tried was the famous Gujarati thali. It consisted of a mouthwatering assortment of vegetarian delicacies like daal, kadhi, shaak (vegetable curry), kachumber salad, and a variety of bread options like roti, puri, and the traditional Gujarati khichdi. The flavors were simply outstanding, and the presentation was visually appealing.
The service at "Kismat Kathiyavadi Hotel" was impeccable. The staff members were knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to assist. They provided helpful recommendations and ensured that all my dining needs were met promptly. The speed of service was commendable, and the waitstaff made sure that I felt comfortable throughout my entire meal.
The restaurant's hygiene standards were top-notch. The dining area and restrooms were clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall positive experience. The attention to cleanliness and hygiene displayed by the management and staff was highly commendable, especially in today's times.
In terms of value for money, "Kismat Kathiyavadi Hotel" offers reasonable prices for the quality and quantity of food they serve. Considering the authentic flavors, generous portions, and the overall dining experience, I found the prices to be quite fair.
Overall, "Kismat Kathiyavadi Hotel" is a hidden gem for Kathiyavadi cuisine enthusiasts in Ahmedabad. With its warm hospitality, authentic flavors, and inviting ambiance, it truly stands out as one of the best Kathiyavadi cousin restaurants in the city. Whether you're a local or a visitor, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. Your taste buds will thank you!

Read moreIt is like a dhaba style restaurant under the bridge with lots of parking places and an open area for seating covered with a roof.
The food was really good proper kathiyawadi style, They served a lot of siders also. The only problem is it was oily but that happens to a lot of dhabha style restaurants in India.
The main thing which steals the show is Bajra ka Rotla ( commonly known as Bhakari in Maharashtra) with lots of ghee. Also the Lasan Lal mirch ki Chutney which adds lots of raw garlic flavour to the taste.
Shev Tamatar sabji was good also the Baigan masala. As told the problem is they were oily.
Quantity was enough for 1 person. If you order one dish. Rice was okay okay.
The service was really fast and there are lots of waiters also which are actively involved.
It's an open seating restaurant with lots of tables.
Hygiene was okay okay I saw lots of tissue on some tables which were not cleaned immediately.
Food was served in steel plates which were a little bit dirty so giving 4 stars.
Prices were really low compared to the food quality and quantity.
Overall it is a must try restaurant if someone wants to try the authentic Kathiyawadi food that goes on...
Read moreVery limited choices, only few Gujarati dishes (શાક/सब्जी) available. I had ordered mix vegetable but it seems only 4-5 vegetables were added, mostly mutter and potato. Buttermilk and Rotis were almost good. Only one person can eat from one plate of sabji, unlike some other Punjabi restaurants. The prices were adequate according to quantity and quality.

I had ate there, the taste was fantastic. Then many restaurants with the same name and some other twisted names opened in Gujarat to...
