You can see the attitude of owner by reading his answer and judge whether you would like to eat food here or go for better options. If he can advice me and can try to insult me on genuine feedback, you can think how would he would be reacting with people visiting his restaurant.

This place remains overcrowded only because of people working nearby in GIDC. You will not see families dining here.

This restaurant offers 2 vegetables, 1 dal, 1 bowl rice, 5 chapati, 1 glass chass and pickles at ₹110 in May 2022. The taste of food is worst. It is not genuine kathiyawadi taste.

Both the vegetables: Mag and bataka fansi taste worst.

Moreover, they adopt unhygienic methods of keeping different boxes of pickels in a single box on the dining table which everyone take with dirty hands.

They don't change chillies on the table. Cleanliness is a major issue.

Instead of going here, one may have authentic kathiyawadi food at lesser price at nearby Tulsidham cross road, Manjalpur.

If the owner wants to learn how food is served at lesser price, he may take a lesson at Dining Hall offering unlimited delicious food with three vegetables at ₹90 at Amitnagar Circle, Karelibaugh.

If you are interested in having Gujarat's Kathiyawadi regional cuisine then this place is one of the few good restaurants in Baroda to visit. I had unlimited thali(meals) for lunch with my friends. Meal is priced economically at 100rs per person. Their range of pickles offered is very nice. You will be served hot rotis until your tummy can take in ;). Rice is limited and served with Dal. I found Dal too sweet for my palate so couldn't finish it full, but ended up eatig 10 rotis. LoL. Roti is served with 2 curries. I also ordered an A-la-carte dish called Dahi Rassa, which was amazingly tasty. Its usually made of lotus leaf rolled in lentil batter(besan) and cooked with curd and masala. This one was unique and first for me as i never tried such a combination. But overall it is good. Do try out if you are close to Makarpura area...

Things that I didn't like at this restaurant:

1. Taste of food very bad especially served in limited thali.
2. Leftover pickels. એંઠા અથાણાં.
3. Absolutely no kathiyawadi taste.
4. Owner is very rude with customers.He feels that he is rendering free service to people at just ₹110 a thali. He feels that people overcrowd this place so it is his birthright to insult them. He feels that no other competitor can provide better food than his restaurant. But the fact is most of GIDC employees do not have any better option to eat in this area at less cost so they visit this place. Otherwise it is worst option to visit this restaurant with family.
