Neelkanth Surati Locho and Khaman House — Restaurant in Gujarat

The place is definitely not the best and you’ll experience a lot of parking issues when visiting here. However, the locho is amazing. Same Surat locho flavor and texture and a lot of variety. In winters, the green garlic flavor is also available which is a MUST try! The dhokla was also really soft and spongy and delicious. Must visit place for locho!

Italian roll - 5/5 - Mayo and cheese sauce filled locho roll topped with pizza tomato sauce and garnished with grated cheese

Garlic locho - 5/5 - strong flavor of garlic in the beautiful regular locho

Green garlic locho - 5/5 - must have variety in the winter season for a nice garlic kick.

Dhokla - 5/5 - soft and delicious white dhokla which was not...

Even though they are charging double the price than they charge in Surat, their attitude towards quality of food is objectionable. I found insect in Idra however they were not ready to accept their mistake. When I opposed strongly, they shamelessly returned my money and said such incidents are normal.

If you ask to provide oil/butter separately and not to pour on locho, while taking parcel, again they will deny. I don't know what is wrong with such demand or they're not ready for getting quality of oil/butter checked.

If you're Locha lover, I suggest to visit Gujarat...

I tried this place keeping in mind their Surat’s franchises. Bt it was Worst. Disappointed with quality, taste and service. Don’t visit keeping in mind that Surat’s Jani locho. Taste was very bed. It was far from original taste. Quality was also bed. Staff was Not professional. Cook was continuously talking over phone rather then cooking the item properly. Waste of money and time. They should not open the branches if they are not capable of maintaining originality...
