We went to this place near Dumas beach on 17Dec2023 for evening tea/coffee. We had reached by 7 pm there was a waiting period of about 20 - 30 min. There is a dedicated Parking space inside which usually is available and if it's full one can get paid parking outside also. Ambience wise place is awesome with good interior decor and exterior atmosphere. Its an old building which has been converted to an eating joint, has lots of open space (9/10), can accommodate significant crowd in multiple seating areas (9/10). Restaurant Staff from reception to table is well behaved but can be more polite (7/10). Menu includes Oriental, continental food and good beverages (9/10). Service was prompt and My orders arrived hot and in reasonable amount of time. (8/10). We tried Nutella cheese cake, Classic hot chocolate, salted caramel chocolate, flat white coffee, camomile green tea and cold brew and all of them were very well prepared. However cream cheese in cheese cake was a bit hard compared to our expectations. Taste wise (8/10). Did not try washroom hence cannot comment about it. All payment options were available. Parking 3.5/5: Dedicated car parking is available at the café. However, coordinated car parking on the roadside Ambience 4.5/5: The best part of this place is its ambience and vibes. An old bungalow or farm house converted into a café This place has beautiful greenery around you that makes you feel relaxed and calm. Trees and plants are very well maintained, like in a proper garden. Even the seating arrangement is very well settled. Food & Taste 2/5: The big, big disappointment is food. The food is tasteless and not up to mark. We tried many options, but almost all dishes were below average. The problem is the food price, which is similar to a 5-star restaurant, but the quality and food are not up to that level. It has also very limited menu consisting Oriental, continental food and beverages. You feel cheated when you taste food. Even charging so much, they are not providing any mouth freshener or saunf after food. (Which is very strange; even a street vendor is providing that.) Service 3.5/5: Service is decent. The staff does not know what to serve, like plates and cutlery. But the promptness of service was good. Staff: 4/5: Staff were polite. Cost: 1/5: BIG DISAPOINTMENT Hygiene: 4/5: Hygiene was decently maintained at the place.
