“Pizza & Friends” – Surat
Tucked away in a stylish corner of Surat, Pizza & Friends is a gem of a café that truly lives up to its name. Whether you’re dropping by with friends or looking for a cozy spot to enjoy some authentic Italian flavors, this place delivers an experience that’s both satisfying and memorable.
The food here is the highlight — fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. The wood-fired pizza is an absolute must-try. With its perfectly blistered crust, rich tomato base, creamy burrata, and a generous sprinkle of basil and parmesan, every bite feels like a trip to Naples. We also tried their pasta, and it was nothing short of incredible. The dish was beautifully presented, with delicate flavors of herbs, vegetables, and a rich, creamy sauce that tied everything together. Paired with a chilled iced coffee, the meal was complete and comforting.
The ambiance is chic yet welcoming. The café’s interior has a modern yet earthy design, featuring an open pizza oven that adds a warm, rustic vibe. There’s plenty of natural light and space, making it ideal for both casual hangouts and quiet lunches.
The staff deserves a special mention — they were extremely friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Service was quick and the team was happy to make recommendations with a smile.
Another bonus? Ample parking space. It’s rare to find a popular spot with such easy parking, making the whole visit smooth and stress-free.

Read moreLet's start with decor and ergonomics that are pretty well balanced. Interior is tasteful and done nicely suits the restaurant well.
The food is pretty good. Had a few basic items that shall be good enough to review the restaurant. Margherita Pizza was nice and made of fresh pomodoro sauce with fresh basil leaves on it. The taste was decent, but the bread was too much stretchy and chewy. Had mocktail named Magic potion, which I found was too sweet, and all it needed was a bit fizz to improve the feel in mouth and taste (try and thank me later). Had a chocolate sesame and salt tart, which was nicely presented and tasted amazing. I personally dont like the combination of sesame and chocolate, but this is exceptional . It's a must try.
Service needs to be improved, and staff needs to be trained professionally with a little knowledge of ingredients and presentations of food about what the experience of having the food going to be. Suggestions from staff are always welcomed when you are confused whatsoever to have. Was treated warmly, though nothing to be complained about, but small things matter a lot when you have such beautiful resaturant. I dont wanna see this resaturant go down like many other restaurants in the neighborhood...

I was blown by the ambience and the interior decor of this restaurant .
The service was great and very hospitable .
Woodfired pizzas are great options as a snack as well as a meal…
We ordered the famous Sicilian pesto pizza- I highly recommend it.
The appetizers and pastas were good, but could be better …
With the cheese dips, they should serve focaccia instead of toasted bread…
I also highly recommend their Mocktails which pair well with the meal.
As for the desserts we had the tiramisu which was definitely one of the best I’ve ever had while visiting Surat.
And we ended it with a shot of espresso.
Overall, great experience and I highly recommend...
