I was in Rajkot on a personal tour and was looking for a good place to have dinner when this restaurant popped up in the suggestions from Zomato and Google. Called up the restaurant to ask a few queries and decided to visit the place to try out their food. And by far, this was the best decision.
The place is new compared to the other nearby restaurants. Upon entering, you have the cash counter on one corner where you need to pay INR 419, including GST per person, post which a band is wrapped around your wrist, and you are free to dive into this world of food. The restaurant has 4 large dining halls, and the full buffet is set up in the central area. Coming to the restaurant, it was spotless, with very well-maintained seats and incredible ambient lighting.
The buffet was one of the largest ones I have ever seen. The range of food items included Chinese, Italian, south Indian, North Indian, Chaat, desserts, dry snacks, ice creams, pastries, and much more. The first round started off with some tomato soup, Veg. Manchurian dry, paneer chilly, Chinese bhel, crispy potatoes, some noodles. The tomato soup was one of the best I have had. It was delicious, and the bread crumbs enhanced the taste. The Veg. Manchurian's were cooked to perfection. Soft and delicious to taste. The Chinese bhel perfectly combined fried sev, onions, and tomatoes blended with schezwan chutney. Crunchy yet spicy and tasty. The paneer chili was crafted in the most delicious sauce I have had, and the paneer itself was super soft to delve into.
In the next round, tried their fried momos, which were absolutely delicious. Soft and crunchy shell stuffed with cabbage blended in a spicy sauce. The Veg. Pulao was made with long-grained rice, and the added veggies were perfect for enhancing the taste. Jeera Rice and Dal fry was indeed the classic combination, and the rice again was long-grained, steamed to perfection, and tempered with jeera. The french fries were piping hot with just the right amount of salt, and the mayo dip made them taste incredible.
However, the highlight was the Margherita pizza slices. As the name the slices were just loaded with layers and layers of cheese topped up on a pan base, which was surprisingly soft, too. The cheese garlic bread had the perfect hint of the garlic taste and was exceptionally soft. The melted cheese was just heaven to taste.
Finally, the dinner ended with a dessert that included creamy thick basundi. The almonds added to it, and the sweetness was simply perfect. One of the most delicious Basundi I have had over the years. Also added to those were small pastries of chocolate and mango flavors. All in all, the food was just heaven for vegetarian lovers. The epitome of Deliciousness.
But the better part was the service. Each staff member was professional yet friendly and ensured that every table was catered to with food. Would like to mention two of them - Suraj Soni and Vishal Sunar. Both displayed the utmost professionalism and were vital to enhancing my dining experience. Thus, if you are in Rajkot, you simply cannot afford to miss this restaurant, and it is a...
