Rotlo The Dining Hall — Restaurant in Gujarat

Just imagine seeing a 4+ rating place filled with dusty fans and the plates filled with more dust.

We chose this place on a rating basis but we got scammed 😕. Just on arrival we decided on a place and looked at the plates filled with dust. Took us more than 10 tissue papers to clean it, while we were cleaning servers and waiters are seeing this and nobody cares to clean or check on other plates, so ride.

While we were cleaning the server directly came up with all the sabjis and tried to put it on. We have to say no and wait till we clean 🫧🪥 it up. He gave us a look that we asked for his kidney, so frustrated 🥴.

The fans were all dusty as you can see in the images. And the other dishes on the table were also not properly washed.

This is one of the best tasting Gujarati thali in Ahmedabad, considering the price which is very reasonable.

The staff was very good, well mannered, very quick with respondi g when requested and professional as well.

The food is delicious. Their kathod is the best, their farsan is also well made. They have wide veriety of food for the price that we pay. They give a choice of at least 3 types of different breads for dinner which is like 5 star service. They serve on steel plates instead of plastic which is a plus point. Ambience is good. The only down side was that there was air freshners and air freshners have harmful chemicals which is not good to be around while eating. Keeping the door open during noon can easily keep the air clean of inside because of sunlight. So no need of air freshners :) Over all a great place! A must visit for Gujarati...
