Sankalp Restaurant - Best south Indian restaurant in Vadodara — Restaurant in Gujarat

The food was great ! quality, spices used for gravy and other items had a great match with all ingredients used. Being from an hospitality industry I understand customer is not always right but when he makes sense you should atleast hear him. Rambajdur is an right asset for your restaurant chain he has dignity and sincerity. But the only the reason my experience went worst is only because of your captain Deepak, he doesn't know how to respect a human being forget about guest or client we requested him several time to put off the music as we were alone in the restaurant however, he was so adamant and rude to just ignore our request for his own entertainment. Don't understand this so called authentic south Indian restaurants are giving the worst food & rated so highly everywhere ..I went on 8th of September at nilambar Sankalp branch for lunch it was one of my worst tasted experience as for chutneys they provided in their place all three of them were so distasteful and so bad ...Sambhar was good ..they are literally fooling the public in the name of authentic south Indian food bcoz most of the people doesn't know wat is authentic taste is so they are using it as opportunity by giving whatever they want and charging too much ...I wud strongly won't recommend Sankalp ever in my life to anyone for south Indian food ...plz skip it...

I honestly don’t understand how this place is getting 5-star reviews. I ordered a masala dosa, which had no taste or flavor at all. I also tried the filter coffee — it tasted artificial, like something had been mixed in. The total bill for just two people came to ₹882, and honestly, I wouldn’t even pay ₹100 for the quality of food we got.

To top it off, the waiter casually suggested adding a tip via Google Pay when handing over the bill — extremely unprofessional given the poor experience. The worst part: the next morning, my mother had food poisoning after eating here.
