I didn’t have a good experience at Zing for a variety of reasons! The place felt stuffy and wasn’t air conditioned properly. The live counters added a lot of noise and movement and it didn’t allow for nice dining and chatting! The menu is limited, although different cuisines, the variety of dishes offered isn’t a lot.
I ordered Sushi (fat boy roll) which I was told will have mushrooms in it. When I was served it had a small piece of mushroom, a big blob of processed cheese and something fried which didn’t go well at all. The nori sheet was shredded and looked like it was deep fried, and it was so oily. Nobody really checked throughout the meal if the food was ok, so there was no time to really give feedback to the chef. I did mention at the time of paying the bill about how disappointing the food was, but little did the staff care and instead went on to promote Goan food festival, and didn’t seem to care about the poor food that I was served. The chef asked to make one sushi again but it was of no use after we had already finished the dinner.

I recently placed an order for a morning cake at Zing Hyatt and paid the full amount in advance. I received confirmation that the cake would be ready for collection by 4:00 PM. However, when I arrived to collect it, the cake was not ready. I had to wait more than 20 minutes, which was already frustrating.
To make matters worse, when the staff finally brought out the cake, it was not the one I had ordered. I asked them to open the box, and it was immediately clear that they had given me a different cake. Only after pointing out the mistake did they start preparing the correct cake.
This level of service is very disappointing, especially from a place like Hyatt, where customers expect professionalism and attention to detail. I had trusted them with my order and expected a smooth experience, but the lack of seriousness and poor service left me very dissatisfied. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve their customer service...

Started with the basement entry being locked, had to take a detour through the car slope after staff redirected me.
Went for the Sunday brunch, only the desserts and pizzas were good. Everything else was underwhelming. The mutton in the gravy was bland and clearly boiled separately. The chicken tikka was barely warm.
Live counter items like pasta and tawa fish were poorly made and carelessly served. Instead of masala cheese dosa, we were served a chilla shaped like a dosa with onions and tomatoes as masala lol. I’ve added pics to show how bad it was.
For a 5 star, the service and attention to detail were shockingly poor.
They waived the charge for one person, but that hardly made up for the overall disappointment....
