Read moreI have not visited the restaurant. The review is purely based on my experience with the staff who answers the call. I was going to order some food from the restaurant via Zomato, however the quantity of the food was not mentioned on the Zomato platform. Hence I made a call to the restaurant and requested them to share the details regarding the quantity of the steamed rice. They mentioned that it would be around 200 grams to 250 grams and the rate mentioned in the Zomato was 248 rupees 🤨. I enquired the receptionist if they are sure that the price is correct or the quantity they are mentioning is correct or not, to which he reluctantly answered that the price is the same as shown over Zomato. Hence I requested if there can be any justification why the price for just a plate of steamed rice was 1 rupees per gram, which seems ridiculous. He kind of shouted at me and said that the price is as it is and cannot be changed and abruptly disconnected the call.
I am pretty sure that this is not the way to handle customers 😑
Looking forward to hear back from the manager if they read the...
Read moreVisited one of the outlets of the chain Sankalp restaurant that is famous for it's great south Indian cuisine. This dharnidhar outlet also has the same feel and interior as others. You get that feeling as soon as you enter in to the restaurant. It is on the first floor and you need to take stairs to reach there. Not sure about the elevators. All the dishes have the same rate as other outlets. Food quality is maintained by the chefs and the taste is very good. We ordered Mysore sada Dosa and a plain Dosa that is served with a sambhar and 3 different types of chutnies green, coconut and red respectively. Prices are somewhat above the average for middle class people I would say! I visited this for the first time though. Overall the staff is friendly and good. Service is also very good. They accept both cash and card payments here. Overall I would say if your pockets are loaded you should visit this place to have a good south Indian taste in Ahmedabad and...
