My recent visit to Sankalp was a delightful experience that left me impressed with their South Indian cuisine! We ordered a variety of dosas, and each one was a standout—crispy, flavorful, and packed with authentic South Indian taste. The fillings were fresh, and the accompanying chutneys and sambar were perfectly balanced, adding to the overall enjoyment. The portion sizes were generous, easily satisfying our appetites. While the prices leaned toward the higher side, the quality of the food and the overall experience more than justified the cost. The restaurant’s atmosphere is a major highlight—vibrant yet soothing, with tasteful decor that creates a warm and inviting feel. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance, making it ideal for both casual meals with friends and special family outings. Beyond the food and vibe, Sankalp excels in its facilities. The washroom area was spotlessly clean, which is always a big plus. There’s plenty of parking space, so no hassle finding a spot, and the waiting area is comfortable and well-maintained, ensuring you’re at ease even during busy times. The staff was courteous and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. Overall, Sankalp offers a fantastic dining experience that combines great food, a pleasant environment, and thoughtful amenities. I’d highly recommend it to anyone craving authentic South Indian dishes in a setting that feels both premium...
Read moreWe had a delightful dining experience at Sankalp Restaurant in the Ramada Encore hotel, Ekta Nagar, during our visit to the Statue of Unity. The restaurant’s ambiance, service, and authentic South Indian cuisine left a lasting impression on us. Our group of 13 ordered dosas, uttapams, dosa platters, cold coffee, and masala tea. My corn cheese dosa was worth the wait, even though it took around 20–25 minutes to arrive. The staff was friendly and attentive, always serving with a smile.
Sankalp is known for its authentic South Indian flavors, a legacy that began in Ahmedabad in 1980. The Ramada Encore location maintains the brand’s quality standards while adding a modern touch. The restaurant is part of a larger experience at the hotel, which features luxurious accommodations and facilities near key attractions like the Statue of Unity and Sardar Sarovar Dam.
A special highlight was the festive Christmas tree at the hotel’s reception, adding a warm holiday vibe. I highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious food, excellent service, and welcoming ambiance. A must-visit for families and large groups when in...
Read moreI have visited this place recently couple of times and tried their Paneer Kadai, Malai Kofta, Manchow Soup, Butter Naan and Kulcha. All of this items were pretty good and tasty. It was definately overpriced but that is in a way understandable as it is located at a Tourist Attraction. After this we visted this place again and had Masala Vegetable Idli, Paneer Dosa, Masala Dosa and Cheese Corn Dosa. From all these Dosas I only liked Masala Dosa and the other 2 specilaty dosas were not good at all so I would not recommend this place for dosa. I am giving 3 star as Dosas were not good at all and they were complete waste of money. The staff was nice and polite and the service was quick too. Won’t go there again as it is over priced and yet the food was...
