Fortune Statue Of Unity, Ekta Nagar - Member ITC Hotels’ Group — Hotel in Gujarat

We had a really bad experience with this hotel last weekend. The staff at the reception was subtly rude for no reason right from when we arrived. The restaurant staff has so many issues, I can't even begin to describe. The manager was also really rude and unapologetic. The rooms were stinking. The hotel from the inside does not look like an ITC group hotel at all. I wouldn't suggest it to anyone. On top of all this, the biggest shocker was that the staff lied to us that the light show at the statue of unity was closed due to repairing for a week (we booked the tickets using this hotel's coupon code). On reaching the statue of unity, we came to know that the light show was never closed and they scammed us. When we confronted them about this, they directly denied saying this and were really really rude about it, saying stuff like "Miss hogaya show ab toh" and "Aap fir wahi se kar lete book" and "Abse help nahi karenge". In summary, we didn't get the rooms that we were promised, we didn't get the food that we ordered, we didn't get the service that we deserved, and we didn't get the experience that we hoped for....

They are the biggest cheat. They book the hotel in the name of Fortune and it is galaxy unity, while checked they said the take over has been delayed, but they never bother to inform the customer and why they booked in the name of fortune it is not Fortune. There is no amenity in this hotel, the hotel looks like a hostel for the look and feel it is heavily over priced. They even did not provide the hand towels and shampoos. The room for three was cramped. they put up a mattress under the TV slab, that is is very dangerous if somebody gets up will hit the slab in head, after som much follow ups they agreed to change to the bigger room but the time my kids slept and I changed the room the next day. the google location puts you in the village, they didn't bother to update that as well.On positive side the food was good though.Overall it is pathetic experience, don't ever...

We had the most amazing time at Fortune Statue of Unity. Stay: The rooms were excellent; very clean, extremely spacious (especially the bathroom), very modern-looking, with all amenities. Hospitality and service: The hotel staff was very helpful and gave us their utmost attention; I've never felt so warmly welcomed before! Housekeeping service for obtaining extra towels, an extra mattress, etc. was very good and fast. Restaurant: The hotel restaurant was amazing; some of the best veg food I've had in a while. Location: The hotel is very close to the Ekta Nagar railway station and Sreshth Bharat Bhavan (start point for buses to the Statue of Unity), which is great.
