🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Authentic Taste of Saurashtra, Right on My Plate!
If you're craving true-blue Kathiyavadi flavors that remind you of maa ke haath ka khana or the soulful simplicity of a rural Gujarati thali, Sarovar Kathiyavadi Restaurant is a gem you simply can’t miss.
From the moment I stepped in, the vibe was not so good insret it was goofy, but unlike the food. I ordered Turiya Patra, Ringna no Olo, and the legendary Lasan ni Curry nu Shaak — each dish felt like it was cooked with love, straight from a traditional gaamda ni rasoi (village kitchen). The turiya patra had the perfect balance of bitterness and spice, and the ringna no olo was smoky, mashed to perfection, and had that rustic kick which only wood-fire cooking can give. And oh, the lasan ni curry — chef’s kiss! So bold, so flavorful, so unapologetically desi.🔥
But wait, the real showstopper came at the end — Rotla nu Churmu. Let me just say this — 100 out of 10. Yes, I said what I said. It was warm, ghee-dripping, jaggery-sweet nostalgia served in a bowl. It didn’t just melt in my mouth, it melted my heart.
Service was humble and prompt, and the staff truly care about what they’re serving. They’re not just offering food — they’re offering sanskriti, sanskar, and swad.
If you're someone who appreciates authentic regional food, or just looking for a break from the usual butter-paneer-overdose, do yourself a favor and eat here. Your tastebuds will thank you. Your Gujarati soul will do a garba in joy.
💯 Will be coming back again — next time with my entire family.

Read moreI recently visited Sarovar Highway Hotel in Navsari and had an overall delightful experience. The food was absolutely delicious, featuring authentic Kathiyawadi taste that truly hits the spot. The quality and quantity of the dishes were impressive, ensuring a satisfying meal. The Gujarati Thali here is particularly outstanding, offering a masterful taste with a variety of salads and athanas.
The staff at Sarovar Highway Hotel are incredibly courteous and attentive, which added to the positive dining experience. Even the parking security personnel were extremely gentlemanly and helpful.
However, there are a few areas where improvement is needed. The parking space is limited, which can be a bit of a hassle during peak hours. Additionally, the absence of a dedicated kids' play area is a drawback for families. The heavy highway traffic during lunch and dinner times can also be quite bothersome.
Overall, I highly recommend Sarovar Highway Hotel for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious Gujarati meal in Navsari. The food and hospitality make it a worthwhile visit, despite the minor...
