Shree Ganesh Fancy Dhosa — Restaurant in Gujarat

🤩I went to this restaurant for the first time today after noticing that it was always crowded when I was driving by. ✔️it is located in the middle of the main road leading to Sardar Estate and Bapod. That is why it is over crowded. ♥️In my opinion: ❌Since plain dosa calls for white dosa batter, the dosa batter in this instance does contain spices like tumeric powder, red chilli powder, and many others, which I personally find offensive. 🍱I placed an order for plain and masala dosa. My plain dosa didn't need the masala because the potatoes masala filling in the masala dosa was overstuffed. 💰Due to the high dosa rates, it is quite expensive. Masala dosas cost 110 rupees, one plain dosa is 55 rupees, etc. 😋I'm not sure how it's so crowded because the food tastes just normal. excessive spice causes stomach acidity. Dosa, Chutney, and Sambar don't accurately represent a South Indian restaurant's flavour. 😉Suggestion to the visitors- Visit your South Indian friends' homes or make new South Indian friends instead of trying this restaurant for the first time so that you can enjoy authentic south Indian dosa chutney sambhar, which would be much healthier, tastier,...

The place is nice and the food is good. The staff is also nice. I didn't like 2 things there: 1) there was no cold water and if you want cold water then you have to buy a water bottle and 2) some of the tables are too small. These can hardly let 4 people to sit comfortably. Since we visited on Sunday so there was croud and there was waiting as well so there was a delay in serving the dishes. The same may not be the case on other days.

The table first alloted to us was too small and we were sitting like sticking ourselves with eachother with one person to put one hand on the back-rest but we were lucky that a nearby table got vacant soon before our meals arrived so we swiftly switched our table then it was comfortable to sit and eat properly.

Suggestion: Ask for the middle rows as there are bigger tables there, specially if you go in a group...

Cleanliness is good. Behaviour of staff and manager is also good.

But when it comes to restaurant, the taste of food matters the most.

This is the dosa outlet where i found little sweetness in sambhar. The sambhar and white chutney was not upto the mark.

I had ordered maisur masala.... but the gravy was like pav bhaji... only smashed potatoes and tomatoes whith very mild taste...

Chhas was nicely packed in bottle and taste was good.

if you are searching for core south indian, then it may not be suitable for u.. but if u love to have fusion of guj- south indian, then you may like this outlet.
