Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
If you're on the lookout for an authentic taste of Kathiyawadi cuisine, look no further than Shri Khodiyar Kathiyavadi Dhaba. My recent dining experience at this hidden gem left me absolutely delighted and craving for more.
From the moment I stepped inside, I was warmly greeted by the staff who made me feel like a welcomed guest in their home. The ambiance is simple yet charming, with rustic decor that immediately transports you to the heart of Gujarat.
Now, let's talk about the food - the real star of the show. Shri Khodiyar Kathiyavadi Dhaba offers a diverse range of dishes that celebrate the bold and flavorsome flavors of Kathiyawadi cuisine. The Thali, which features an array of mouthwatering dishes, is an absolute must-try. Each item on the Thali was bursting with authentic flavors and made from fresh, high-quality ingredients.
The Undhiyu, a vegetable medley cooked to perfection, was a standout. The flavors were so vivid and robust that it felt like a burst of happiness in every bite. The Sev Tameta nu Shaak was another winner, striking a perfect balance between spiciness and tanginess.
The service was impeccable, with the staff taking great care to ensure that I was well-informed about the dishes and comfortable throughout my meal. They were more than willing to accommodate my preferences and answer any questions I had about the menu.

If you want to ask something you have to stand up and ask. Waiters are not bringing food on time. While my visit, suddenly fire happens in their wiring system, it seems they have recently installed all Fire safety equipments and don't know how to operate it.
We did not complted the meal though they charged Full and insisted us to have it while out side again...
Read moreWorst food experience ever. The food was so bad it was not even eatable — just overloaded with garam masala and completely lacking any real flavor. This wasn’t Kathiyawadi or even decent Indian food. And to make it worse, the staff weren’t even Indian — how can they possibly deliver authentic Kathiyawadi cuisine? On top of all that, the place was unhygienic and the staff seemed totally confused and careless. Waste of time, money, and appetite....
