Sigdi Restaurant ( Anand ) — Restaurant in Gujarat

Sigdi restaurant is a gorgeous place on the highways outside Anand. Great ambience , although you might have to wait a bit for a table cuz of the rush. The place looks great, well-lit , with terraced huts and open lawns. That's the first thing you notice. The second is that the service is abysmal. The orders rake an ungodly amount of time to appear. My order itself took a whopping 30 minutes . I do know the restaurant is rather busy but if you expand your joint to a point where it starts affecting it's functioning, you haven't done a good job. I had ordered a Chicken Tikka, a Chicken Malai Tikka, a a Chicken Nawabi, and butter naans. The food was mediocre, in sharp contrast with the look of the place . The kebabs were overcooked with the usual symptoms: too dry, and flaky, and were by no means worth the wait. Infact, I'd advice you to skip the kebabs, unless you want to waste your money. The Chicken "Afghani" was good, but it wasn't Afghani by any stretch of imagination. I've had the pleasure to taste the dish called Chicken Afghani at many occassions , and this wasn't a chicken afghani I had just eaten. Infact, to confirm my suspicions, I looked up the dish on Google, and voila, what I had eaten was nothing like the real dish. All joking aside, the imposter dish was decent, the chicken succulent, though the curry was extremely mild and a tad bit dull. The naans were a little bit too dry and hard. Sigdi restaurant now a days change there taste. Salad are not good in compare to starting when sigdi open. It's not cold & so spicy. Yesterday I went to there with my family bt we couldn't enjoy like everytime before we enjoy at sigdi. Main course taste is same with 3 different dishes. Chicken not cook properly. Staff behavior quite rude. Quantity of dish is now a days they reduce so much. No garnishing in any dish. Every dish is not hot enough also. Now there is so dirty table & restaurant area is also so dirty.

In Hut the upper area make so much noise by the waiter. So much disturbance & noisy atmosphere I feel there.

Waiter & other staff also make partiality in customer, like they gives hot bowl for washing hands to few customers & for few they are not given hot bowl. Same in mouth freshener also.

Test wise no problem, Extremely need to improve service standard, we have ordered "x" items, they bring something else🤔 when asked service boy, he said green tikka, without looking at what he has bring to serve us. Actually it was red pahadi tikka with red colour, when we ask he said it's green Tikka, not understand what he arguing upon as he seems to be unskilled without any knowledge, he said "ye le lo, varna aur wait karo 25-30min" All good, eat what they served, not what you have ordered😂.
