Being born and brought-up in Surat, I am a proud Surti and I take a lot of pride for having grown-up relishing the delicious Surti savories and sweets.

My home is just about 200-300 meters from Surat Khaman House. I have seen this place establish and flourish by offering 'the best' Surti Locho in Surat.

There are many Locho shops that have flourished in Surat, but this one is by-far the best and the most authentic one.

Must-try food items are : Piping hot Locho with oil, butter locho, Surti white Idla with oil and Sev Khamni. Their signature green chutney is not to be missed.

Surat Khaman House has not made any change to the quality and taste of Surti Locho since my childhood. This is what I like the most about this place. Authentic then, authentic even to date.

Very old and nice place for authentic Surati locho and khaman. Probably these guys are ordinator of surati locho. Test and quantity wise this place has one of the finest locho. They started selling other farsan as well but rather than to that recommend locho. Here white locho also available and really worthy try item. In the early morning, lot of crowd would be here. They need to focus bit more on the cleanliness and hygiene. No parking space at all for the four wheeler vehicles as it is in the conjusted area of old city. Staff is...

5 star breakfast. The Surat Khaman house is the best breakfast spot in Surat. It holds true to the saying, Kashi nu maran aani Surat nu khaman.
