Have been for an official buffet lunch on independence day. Accessibility to the restaurant is good as it's on the highway. Parking space beside the highway is sufficient. At the entrance, we didn't feel like it was functioning & lively as the appearance of the front garden etc was not pretty. The roof structure of the restaurant seen covered with plastic sheets which depicted poor maintenance. As we went inside, the roof truss (wooden truss & Mangalore tiles above) was seen as excessively dangerously sagging! The resturant owner should get it right else it may risk the lives of the customers. The AC was not effective though the weather was not that hot (monsoon season). Furniture was not maintained & seen wear and tear. The starters fared poorly. The Mojito drink was exceedingly sweet, paneer tikka was not cooked, veg cutlet was average & soup was poor. The main course included tandoor roti, paneer dish & mix veg fared ok. Daal was not tasty. Overall a below-average experience. Wouldnt recommend given the...
Read moreThe Grand Palaash is located next to the national highway. Parking is not a problem. The ambience is superb. There is ample of space. One has an option of indoor or traditional outdoor seating. It is recommended that you choose the latter, especially in winter. We got to watch an ongoing cricket match on a giant screen. Quality of food was good. We ordered the Tandoori platter. It allows one to try 5 different starters, all of which are nice. The waiter recommended Veg Samarkand. It was something different and at the same time, not bad. In breads, one must have the kulcha. Veg Biryani was very well made. Prices are reasonable and the quantity served is decent. Service is good. However, there should be somebody at the entrance to guide customers. We had to figure out things ourselves. We also had to wait for a while before we had a table to ourselves. Tawa ice cream was not functional.
Overall, a great experience and definitely worth visiting again. Ideal place if kids are a...
Read moreThe food is good but not the best. You’ll find the menu card a little too short as compared to it’s name i.e. less options to choose from. The place is divided into three parts as of now. The first thing you’ll come across on your right side will be offering you Italian food which again has very few options. There is a tawa ice-cream parlour beside it, which I haven’t experienced yet(This place is open to sky. Do carry a jacket during winters as the place is quite cold during winters.). Then you will come across a roofed sitting space with warm yellow lights right in front of you which is again not covered with walls(i.e. don’t forget your jacket during winters!). And a little more further on the left there will be a garden with traditional sitting and which is again...
