The Chocolate Room — Restaurant in Gujarat

I typically talk regarding the taste, experience and some other factors when I visit some eatery. But, for this place. My experience was a bit peculier. I would not like to generalize the situation as this perticular brand have several outlets. I wanted to redeem some deal vouchers on Valentine's day and due to some rough past experiences, I always read terms and conditions carefully. It was specified that voucher is valid till month end and it is not valid on public holidays. Alright. Understood. It is Thursday, NOT a public holiday. So let us redeem the deal. I showed them the deal. And at first they didn't react anything. I thought okay. maybe their preparation time is a bit long. As it is a thing around Cafes nowadays. So I waited for an hour. With the thought of oozing chocolate I spent that long hour. Then I inquired to the waitress, she told me to talk to their manager. I approached him. When I reached the counter, he tried to act busy.(I knew he wasn't as our table was on the back side of counter and I noticed that he was just gazing around Youtube.) I waited for 5 mins or so and then he finally replied and told me to show the deal. I showed him the deal and he said that today is the public holiday and you wont be able to redeem it today. I told him that today is Thursday and apparently Valentine's day is not the public holiday. He told me this exact sentence, "Kon sa din public holiday hota hai ya nahi hota pata nahi aur kaha kaha se aa jaate hai muft ka khane k liye." (" Without even having proper knowledge which day is public holiday, freeloaders show up to pick some free eats.") I felt humiliated and left. I dont know about the food experience but step in experience was just freshly brewed out of hell. I would not like to step in atleast this...

Unsupportive staff. Bad experience two days in a row.

Chocolate room famous for its desserts, really is a good option for chocolate dishes lovers.

However personally i do like their burger, a specific one, if made with love I have experienced both good staff services as well as pathetic staff services. Ambience is decent and comfortable, not sort of a high premium dine relative to the prices.

In frame is cottage cheese steak burger and tex mex burger

Cottage cheese steak burger seemed fresh and tasty, good tasted bun and delicious combo, i like its chutney or saucy based thing.

Tex mex burger on the other hand is my favourite but the last time i had it, i was served deep freezed beans just cooked not well so the rajma and other beans were not well, cheese was like a thick SOLID blanket and it didnt...

The Chocolate Room offers a variety of options for -

Snacking - sandwiches, burgers, panino, pizzas, pastas, Italian toasts, lasagnas, etc.

Desserts - Chocolate bomb, shakes, fondue, freak-shakes, etc.

I would suggest you try one of the Panino. We tried the Garden Fresh Panino and it tasted amazing and was served with a few fries as well!

Overall the ambience is decent, a little dimmer on the lighting, comfortable with the sofa seatings, easy on the pocket, and an overall pleasant...
