Alright, so I just ate at this place, and honestly, it was a bit of a mixed bag, leaning towards 'meh'. The baked macaroni with pineapple... okay, the macaroni itself was alright, but someone went a little crazy with the sweet stuff. The pineapple already brings its own sweetness, you know? It felt like I was eating dessert for the main course. Definitely could dial back the sugar there. The soup, though, that was actually pretty decent. No complaints there. Now, the "green salad"... that was a straight-up lie. It was more like a red and orange salad, packed with tomatoes and carrots. Seriously, where was the green? If you're gonna call it a green salad, maybe actually put some green stuff in it? And it wouldn't hurt to just give a quick rundown of what's actually in the salad when someone orders it, so there are no surprises. Here's a big one – it was HOT in there. I was sweating, and when I mentioned it, all I got was a "oh yeah, that table doesn't get much AC." Great. So, if you're hoping to stay cool while you eat, maybe avoid table two (if that's what it was). They clearly know it's a problem, so maybe actually fix it? And the service felt a bit rushed. I hadn't even touched my soup, and bam, there's my main dish already on the table. Like, let me enjoy one course before the next one shows up. That's something the captain or whoever's in charge of the floor should be keeping an eye on, making sure things come out in a proper order. It's not the server's fault exactly, but the overall flow was off. So yeah, some hits, some major misses. They've got potential, especially with the soup, but they seriously need to rethink the sweetness in that macaroni, be honest about the salad, sort out the AC situation, and get the timing of the food service right. Just my drop...

Woodland, frankly, doesn't need my review! When I shifted to Nadiad a decade back, it was THE ONLY restaurant to goto! I used to take my dinner daily (almost) during Sept 2006 to Dec 2006. I used to eat Idli or Vada. Uttapam, Dosa and Upma (Sev Upma) were eaten for change.

Their South Indian and Punjabi stand apart even today. Extremely consistent taste, high level of quality and the most convenient location in Nadiad are some the most obvious plus points of this grand old place!

There is also a kind of aura/at least, a premier/royal brand image associated with this place, that no other restaurant can hope to have in a near visible future.

Despite the fact that Nadiad now has some very wonderful places to eat, Woodlands has been able to retain its image as No. 1so far.

Of course, times are changing fast. There are some exciting new places around and only the time will tell whether Woodlands will be able to retain its (as perceived by me, of course) No.1 position. In fact, it may be high time that this place starts to reinvent itself.

But yes, for now, if you ask me to suggest just one top place the eat out in Nadiad, Woodlands would be the most obvious answer!

Of course, one more item they sell is my favourite:...

Review of Tulips Woodland Hotel, Nadiad (200 Words)

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tulips Woodland Hotel in Nadiad, and overall, it was a satisfying experience. The ambience of the hotel is welcoming and well-maintained, offering a pleasant atmosphere for both families and casual diners. The staff was courteous and attentive, ensuring that we felt comfortable throughout our visit.

The food quality stood out positively. We ordered a vegetarian handi along with a variety of other dishes. The presentation and flavors were commendable. However, the veg handi was a bit on the spicier side than expected. While some may enjoy the extra heat, it might not be ideal for those with a milder palate. Nonetheless, the rest of the dishes were perfectly seasoned and cooked to satisfaction.

The service was prompt, and the hygiene standards were well maintained. The dining area was clean, and the overall vibe of the restaurant was relaxed and enjoyable.

In conclusion, Tulips Woodland Hotel is a great place to enjoy a quality meal in Nadiyad. Just a small suggestion for the kitchen would be to offer a spice-level option for certain dishes. Definitely worth a visit for anyone looking for good vegetarian food in a...

Great place for outing in the city. The food is pretty good and the staff is also good. Service is prompt and temperature checks are in place. Good place to enjoy family dinner or the likes. Some parking issues can be experienced due to limited un-allotted parking or restaurant. Food is good and tasty. Serving size is also good. Biryani - 4/5 - little too garam masala but definitely worth tasting Chole Bhature - 4/5 - tasty chhole and huge bhature Dosa - 4/5 - all Dosa were perfect and jain option is also available Uttapam - 3/5 - good tasting but little thick and dense uttapam Chocolate shake - 3/5 - tasty quick chocolate milk Filter coffee - 4/5 - very good coffee but it didn’t taste like filter coffee Chaat - 4/5 - perfect balance of flavors

I Have My Pet Dog , And I recently had an experience where I was not allowed to bring my dog into woodland. I had planned a weekend getaway with my furry companion, but upon arrival, I was informed that the hotel had a strict no pets policy. I was disappointed and frustrated, as I had not been made aware of this policy prior to booking my order I was forced to make alternative arrangements for my dog, which added additional stress and expenss . I also felt guilty for leaving my dog behind and not being able to have him with me during my dinner . It was a reminder that not all hotels are pet-friendly, and it's important to do research and check policies before going there.
