One of my worst dining experiences at Vandanam Restaurant.

I ordered 4 unlimited dishes. The restaurant wasn’t even crowded, so I expected smooth service. I started with ordering a buttermilk (since it was not included in the unlimited meal), but even after completing my full dinner, the buttermilk never arrived. Surprisingly, they still added it to my bill.

Another issue — the AC was not working at all. The environment felt like a community hall, not a professional restaurant. They couldn't even manage a basic comfortable temperature.

When I pointed out the service issues, the owner had a very casual attitude. Instead of addressing my concerns properly, he just said, "We will take care next time, but you have to pay whatever my computer shows." This is highly unprofessional — why should a customer pay for something that wasn’t served properly?

On top of everything, when I checked my bill before paying, I found that they had added someone else's order to my bill. When I showed it to them, they corrected it and gave me a new bill. If I hadn't checked, I would have ended up paying for others' food too!

And honestly, it felt like they only care about online orders and Zomato deliveries — not the customers who actually visit and sit in the restaurant.

Last night, I visited a restaurant with high hopes for a great dining experience. Unfortunately, it turned out to be quite the opposite. From the moment we were seated, the service was exceedingly slow. It took nearly 20 minutes for a server to even acknowledge our presence and take our orders.

After placing our orders, the wait for the food was unbearable. We sat for over an hour, watching as tables seated after us received their meals. When we finally inquired about our food, the server seemed indifferent and offered no explanation or apology for the delay.

To make matters worse, when our food finally arrived, it was mistakenly delivered to another table. We watched in disbelief as the other diners, confused, inspected the dishes before realizing the error. This mix-up added insult to injury, further delaying our meal and amplifying our dissatisfaction. The staff’s lack of attention to detail was evident, and their failure to ensure that orders were correctly delivered was extremely frustrating. This experience highlighted serious shortcomings in their service and organization, leaving us utterly disappointed.

By the time our meals arrived, we were thoroughly frustrated and our appetites had waned. The prolonged wait overshadowed any potential enjoyment of the food. This experience left us with no desire to return, as the service was simply...

I was mislead by the social media hype of this restaurant and I have to tell that I was extremely disappointed having unlimited dinner here. The cost of unlimited dinner buffet for adults us 399 and 199 for kids excluding taxes. The food variety in buffet is just 5 to 6. Steamed idli, fried idli, coin size medu Vada, handkerchief sized dosas, mini pancake size uttapam, one beetroot lemon water, papad served one time, Pongal, rasam, sambhar, plain rice and some vegetable sabji rice, chana masala, Paratha, one sabji. Only three types of dosas are given in unlimited option- plain, Mysore masala or masala dosa. They claim to serve unlimited however from taste point if view, you will not ask for anything more after eating once. I didn't like anything i ate here. It was totally a wrong decision to have dinner here and would not recommend anyone to visit here especially for unlimited food. instead of spending such amt here you can go to unlimited Punjabi food restaurant or unlimited pizza places.
