Zhingalala — Restaurant in Gujarat

It is fair enough to say that we don't have many places to have good seafood, particularly in surat. But now we have one and very specific option for surties to have shrimps in our city. @zhingalala, recently we visited this place and we are quite amazed by the food quality and the ambience we enjoyed over there. This place has every thing for one to spend quality time. Myself as a youngster, I felt like this place also has vibes like cafes generally have, so it is highly suited for students and couples. You can visit this place at daytime also, as they can serve anything from the whole menu at any point of time when they are open. If you want better of this place please visit between 6 to 8 pm, because there won't be any rush at this time.

Now coming to the food part. The menu have variety of items form starters to desserts. Options are diverse enough that people from all age group can find their respective choices. From veg and non-veg rolls to starters entirely made out of either paneer or shrimps. Main course contains better of both veg and non-veg. As per our personal experience you should try zhinga curry with bajara bread. Multiple rice options are there, u can have from both veg and non-veg. They also have beverages as a options to have it with your favorite dish.  Every dish is unique and different, you can feel the difference of quality, richness in taste from other places. As they serve non-veg dishes they put up proper care of hygiene in both their kitchen and cafeteria.

The Restaurant is located in a posh and fancy locality with plenty of parking space. Can't recall the exact names of the dishes but you'll get an idea with the dish title.

Onto the food ordered. Did a variety of items.

Chilli guava juice - Mediocre. Tasted like a packaged juice sprinkled with hint of chilli. 5/10

Crispy Fish fingers - Well done. Crisp. Tartar given was also to the point. 6/10

Tempura prawns - Had crazy expectations from this dish. Turned out to be a little disappointing. The batter coating was more thick than what I have tasted at places and tasted mildly bitter. Prawn size was the only saving grace. 3/10

Oregano Herb rice with butter garlic prawns - This was the star of the night, the rice was one of the best i have ever had when it comes to flavoured ones, nicely balanced and infused. The butter garlic gravy as well has amazing consistency and taste. Would recommend you all to try it. 9.5/10

Service was kinda slow. Another funny incident was a big family was celebrating someone's birthday, they ended up bringing their dog to the restaurant towards the end. As much as there is my never ending love for the fur babies, as a restaurant you guys should have a control over such things. Not everyone is fine with these things. All in all won't be harsh on the rating as I had a good time.

Outdoors and AC is good, car parking is almost difficult all the times. There is basement parking available but i was denied by the watchman saying it is only for office use, hence not sure about it, one must ask for it. Bid indoor space with deck-floor dining available, efficiently and smartly used the space for sitting and catering as well. Good choice for interior colors and material. Exposed cement sitting is there which might probably wont fit for unfits and elders, however, comfortable chairs are available. Good big menu with varieties. And yes, the washroom is also there.
