I had placed an advance order with Binge Bakery DLF phase 1 branch, for an order to be delivered after 2 days. And due to Holi i wasn't able to make the instant payment as was expected but never communicated by the staff. On the day of delivery this guy from Binge tells me that my order is cancelled as i didn't make payment instantly. Well this is not my first time i have ordered inadvance at this place. Everytime i make the payment the order is delivered. However this guy never ever informed me about this "company policy" he was bragging about....and neither was he ready to share the contact number of the owner to appraise the wonderful customer service these guys have. Having no sensitivity towards customer service is definitely gonna doom the business. I hope this post is read by Eddie Singh who happens to be the owner and someone who is non approachable incase something needs to be reported. Today business scenario is changing and people who have no transparency in business and clarity towards business ethics are the worst people to deal with. Read moreI had called on the number provided on the website to place an order of a cake. Halfway through my conversation with him and without completing my order, the guy hurriedly told me to whatsapp the order details as he was too busy talking to someone else on another phone. I was flabbergasted at his behaviour but since it was too late, I placed the order on whatsapp. He told me that I would get the order by 8:00 pm but it didn't arrive at 8. I was continuously calling him but his phone was busy all throughout. I decided to not go ahead with the order and cancelled it. At that moment the guy called me back and requested me to place the order again. So after the guy gave me 5 minutes of his busy schedule to discuss the variety of cakes available with him, I placed the order again. After all this hassle, I got a very sweeettttt chocolate concord cake with the frosting full of sugar crystals which I could feel in my mouth. My special day got ruined this way, first the order placement hassle and then the quality of the cake which was so bad that I almost choked every time I had a bite. Read moreFor my 6-year old nephew's b'day we placed an order of sugar paste cake with a specific request for a 3-d model Sonic on the cake. We even shared photos with the bakery and they agreed to deliver the same. They charged us INR 7,500 before the delivery itself. And on the day of the b'day they sent us a 2-D cake with the Sonic photo/sticker just printed and pasted. Even upon registering a complaint their team was not even apologetic of the blunder they had done, rather they started giving excuse oh that was not possible. Holding customers hostage like this when they very well know that all the money has been already charged and the customer won't be able to come fight for their right in thr middle if a b'day party of their kid is just plain shameful behavior. We were once a loyal customers of Binge bakery and always recommended it everyone but this incident has thrown light on the dropping standards, terrible customer relation policy, utter fraudulent practices adhered by them.
