This Modern Bazaar in Arjun Market is the worst experience in town! I have been a Modern Bazaar loyalist in Delhi for so many years. And I'm shocked at this branch in Gurgaon (the Worldmark and SS Plaza ones are good) MB in Arjun market is small, cramped, and very very dirty. The butchery smells so bad you can't stand there. The fruit and vegetables are of the poorest quality and have flies swarming around them. The basement section can't be entered because of its stench. And worst of all are the crazy numbers of employees who work according to one principle- "the customer is of no consequence, only emptying cartons, arranging shelves and taking stocks is important." Why do you have so many employees in a store where there's not a enough space for customers? And why don't you have trained staff? Yours is a service industry. Why have you forgotten that the shopping experience has to be pleasant for the customer? Only your cashiers are quick...

Always. Service is poor, no-one will ask you what you need while watching you search for something. Their main job appears to be meeting online orders, and to get at an item they will cut across the customer. The best part is their nonveg / butcher counter. The items are varied and of good quality, service is again reluctant and not pleasant. Read moreThe location on maps is wrong. It is right in the "Shopping Mall" of dlf phase 1, C block. Small compared to many other locations, but u can almost find their usual range of local and gourmet imported products. The bakery section as usual smells great, but the overall store has very narrow aisles and with so many employees u r always squeezing through the lanes. The first floor is really like UG, with shorter height and it can get suffocating in winters, well, because there is no Air conditioning running. The pulses and grains are nothing outstanding, but u would not find anything that is cheap or of bad quality. Right place to go for your ham, maple syrup, speciality breakfast cereals or marshmallows,...
