Review for Anupam Restaurant
I recently visited Anupam Restaurant with a few friends after hearing mixed opinions, and I’d say the experience was overall okay—neither amazing nor terrible, just somewhere in between.
The ambiance was simple and clean, though nothing particularly stood out. It wasn’t crowded when we arrived, which was a plus. The staff was polite but seemed a bit distracted, and the service was slower than expected. We had to wait quite a bit to place our order and even longer for the food to arrive.
We tried a few items like the butter chicken, dal makhani, and garlic naan. The butter chicken was flavorful, but a bit too sweet for my taste. The dal was decent—comforting, but lacked that rich, slow-cooked depth. The naans were hot and fresh, probably the highlight of the meal. The portion sizes were okay for the price, though I felt the prices leaned slightly on the higher side compared to the overall experience.
The place could definitely improve in terms of promptness and maybe a little more attention to presentation and spice balance. If you're looking for a quick, no-fuss Indian meal and aren’t too picky, Anupam...
Read moreIt's very unfortunate that Anupam being an big and renowned brand doesn't meets its own commitment. They have displayed a free delivery within 3 kms but when I called them to deliver some food (As I was not well) item one guy refused to deliver saying we do not deliver in colonies (Why didn't you mention it in your display standee in your outlet?). I spoke to the manager expecting some favor first he said," Mana kar do' after that he took phone and started giving poor excuses, saying that they only deliver in Sector areas only, why such partiality on basis of sector and colonies. I offered them advance money and requested a lot despite that they denied it stating that its hard to find address and we get lot of traffic. We receive international couriers on our addresses. I want to know are sector 19, 28, 29 traffic free? Such poor thinking is not less than any kind of racism.
It was my parents anniversary and Anupam (Sector 28 Faridabad)...
Read moreOrdered mithai worth approx 2k ; delivered items were not worth even rs 20. Extremely stale, tasteless & inedible sweets. It was obvious they had been lying on shelf for at least past several weeks. I had been a loyal customer for several years, but I had recently started feeling their quality has been deteriorating. But this experience is the final nail in the coffin. Am never ordering from them again. They need to fire their halwais. Unless the stakeholders do not value their brand, they need to get rid of their staff asap. Seems staff is intentionally delivering rotten food to make sure the shop loses loyal customers; there can be no other reasonable excuse to deliver something so inedible. DEFINITELY NEVER ORDERING AGAIN WITH THEM. MITHAI DELIVERED BY THEM IS NOT FIT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION, UNLESS YOU WANT YO END UP UN HOSPITAL ICU FOR SEVERE...
