This place is awesome and is much much better than other restaurants and so called dhabas with big name and fame up their sleeves. Owing to the name being of a reputed brand they maintain that decorum too. Hygiene and sanitation in the restaurant and restrooms is exceptionally good. They do have labelled the lavatory if any of that isn't working. Amazing hospitality and customer dealing. They do have option of baby/child seat/chair which benefits so many parents who are travelling with their toddlers. They live upto their name and brand. Staff there is so courteous. Person who steps in there can easily make out difference in the efforts this brand makes to ensure cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation of the area around. The food (whatever you order) is tasty and sumptuous. I ordered chinese and Indian both alongwith some typically Indian dishes like chat and raj bhog... imust admit that taste and quality were exceptionally good and were of the standard what you expects out of a global brand. They do retain their desi charm also as they serve tea in typical Indian style which promots use of earthen pots (kulhad). It is a must visit place and is approachable for all the travelers irrespective whatever direction they are travelling i.e. from delhi or to delhi as the main road on that junction has crossing arena and no divider is there. This bikanervala restaurant is just next to Amrik sukhdev dhaba which is well known but whose quality has gone drastically down. I recommend that one must visit this bikanervala atleast once and decide...
Read moreI am a big fan of bikanervala's. Having visited sec 29 gurgaon one probably 1000+times my expectation was similar.
Here the main and only problem is STAFF!!.
They are not rude or bad people, they are absolutely UNTRAINED.
This was my third time here and similar observations.
Earlier washrooms were dirty and taps were non functional, but now they have fixed it. So washrooms are fine now.
Waiter taking the order was absolutely naive, took wrong order and could not answer basic questions like donu serve curd/pickle/tea with parantha and is there a combo, etc etc
In masala dosa the Aloo stuffing was definitely old and dated, yet not stale but not fresh either. I know the taste of fresh one as I have eaten in bikanervala many times.
BILLING: they never ever give you bill for sweets and savouries purchase. Third time this happened and they said they are waiting for roll paper.
I asked if ladoos are fresh or from yesterday they said yes fresh ..."kya fark padta hai Aaj ke hai ya kal ke".
Most annoying: A lady was constantly roaming in the entire restuarant,I think her name was "sahaj". She was constantly joking and talking with other staff members and distracting them from their work. She needs basic training in hospitality i.e when customers are there be at your best behaviour and attend them not...

Visit One: We reached the place at 8 in the morning and we had a limited menu option which was good to have. Washroom was clean but WATER was filled in the Soap Dispenser. Staff was really untrained and seems like they doesn't belongs to hospitality industry.
Visit Two: This visit was for Lunch of 5 People and the flavours was perfect, No flaws for the food in terms of Taste and Ambiance but again the staff was unprofessional and even the stewards doesn't know the basic things. In short it has come up like a Modern Dhaba. Worst thing which is taking ONE Star is that even on second visit WATER was filled in the Soap Dispenser and after asking the concern person he said no soap is provided by the management.
Food and Ambiance is really nice, One can visit the place as a Quick Break on NH 1 or while...
