I had a wonderful experience with Box of Cake. I will share the whole story a bit later on this post. Let’s start with the most important bit. The cake looked exactly how I wanted it and it tastes absolutely delicious.

I ordered the cake for a 3:30 pm delivery. When the delivery person came, the figurine was broken due to excessive heat (Faridabad is about 40-42 degrees these days). They checked the cake and took it back.

I called the owner back because I was concerned if the cake is hygienic since it was now checked by the delivery people and additionally had been in the heat outside. He instantly said, “Don’t worry Mam. I will make a new cake for you”.

And he did.

Furthermore, the weather turned and it started to rain with thunder and lightning. So I called him again if he could deliver even though we had talked about us picking up the second cake. He got the cake delivered. It did arrive a bit too late, and we quickly had a cake cutting ceremony and rushed out to our dinner booking.

In all a great experience even though it wasn’t exactly as I had planned. We went with the flow, and all people at Box of Cake helped us have a great birthday...
