I had the misfortune of dining at Gulab Restaurant recently, and I’m still trying to figure out what all the hype is about. The place is nothing short of a disaster — from start to finish, it was an utter letdown.

Let’s begin with the service, which was downright insulting. The staff seemed completely disinterested, if not outright rude. I felt like I was more of an inconvenience to them than a customer. They had no courtesy, no sense of urgency, and certainly no interest in making us feel welcomed.

As for the food, it was a sad excuse for what’s supposed to be authentic, flavorful cuisine. Bland, tasteless, and utterly forgettable — the dishes lacked the zest and depth that you’d expect from even a mediocre restaurant. It's honestly baffling that a place like this exists with the reputation it has. Not a single dish stood out, and I left with a lingering taste of disappointment.

And don’t even get me started on the prices! You’re paying the same rates you would at a five-star hotel, but for food that is far from five-star quality. It’s a classic case of "unchi dukaan, fika pakwaan" — the glitzy facade hides the absolute lack of substance.

For a place that’s so over-hyped, Gulab Restaurant is nothing more than a huge disappointment. If you value your time, money, and taste buds, do yourself a favor and skip this place. There are far better options in the city that actually deliver what...

Popular sweets are Rewari &Gazzak along with Gazarpaak and Ghewar.

Awesome place to eat Indian, south Indian, Chaat, sweets, mocktails, etc. Best restaurant in terms of taste, quality, hygiene, ambience, AC, location, etc.

They never compromises with quality. Rates are little bit higher. You can have anything here. Parking is not easily available. It has seating area for dining as well. You can enjoy street food experience with hygiene in focus.

It is usually crowded at all the time and the quality of food is amazing.

A really good place in the whole rohtak famous for specially sweets and quick snacks. The place is hygienic and staff is quite polite as compared to other restaurants nearby.

Must try this place. Yes it is expensive but...

One can simply eat food items like Cheese Masala Dosa and Onion Uttappam. 😍

Chat category like Bhalla Papdi, Raj Kachori, Dhokla, Onion Kachori,Paani Poori etc etc are really good. 🥳

Their Tandoori Veg Platter used to be delicious but it is not the same when I tried recently.

The restaurant has lots of varieties in sweets to offer. They have lots of gift hampers options with different combinations. The price may sound a little bit high but the quality is extremely good and they maintain the standard. 👌

Sitting arrangement is pretty good and spacious hall for a small get together.
